Today started with some great news: I found out that I am accepted as a vendor for @thehandmadepopup this spring!! I’ve been admiring the previous years’ vendors for a long time now, and it’s such an honor to be included in this group of badass, talented makers from around the world! I could never have imagined being part of such an amazing and supportive community.
Follow @thehandmadepopup for a gorgeous feed and a truly inspiring collection of handmade goods- and mark April 19th on your calendars, because that’s when the online marketplace opens! ✨
✨ Some of you may recognize this maker from my previous shoutout, but I'd like to take a moment to share this absolutely gorgeous amethyst wand that the incredible Natasha of @blessedbranches so thoughtfully and GENEROUSLY gifted me all the way from Australia! Many of you know that I lost my dear aunt last month, and February was a particularly difficult month for me, leaving me completely uninspired.🌀
Natasha recognized my pain and reached out to ask for my address, wouldn't tell me what she was plotting, and wouldn't let me pay even for shipping. I think all of her creations are stunning and I could easily get lost in her feed, but I had been admiring these wands for some time and had wanted to purchase one at some point. They are handmade with beautiful chatons, clay, beads, are topped with perfect amethyst crystal and can even be used as a hair adornment!🌿
Well, she beat me to it and shipped one to me all the way across our big, blue Earth! I'm stunned, grateful, and lovingly humbled by her gift. Kindness and generosity are traits not commonly found in today's tumultuous climate, but even the simplest of gestures (not that this is simple by any stretch) can have enormous impact. 🙏🏻
Please, please take some time to look through Natasha @blessedbranches ' enchanting feed, I promise you will not be disappointed, and she is a wonderful soul absolutely deserving of every bit of our support that she may receive! 💜🌿
