The East Coast is great and all, but one thing I think is great about the West Coast (or the Gulf) is catching the sunset on the beach. Looking into this glass makes me want to be some place much warmer and sunnier..summer can’t come soon enough 🏝🙏🏽😓.
Pacific Sunset 🌅:
🔹 1 1/2 oz @montelobos Mezcal
🔹3/4 oz Maraschino Liqueur
🔹3/4 oz Lime
🔹1/2 Blood Orange
🔹Splash of Aperol
This bar is so cool!!! Head to the locker room to be greeted with.....lockers! Find the handle and slide ⬅️ to be greeted by Head Bartender Fahbeer with her lucky hair! Then you have the choice of the sponsored speakeasy bar downstairs, or the very cool conceptual one upstairs accessed by yet more lockers! The concept is Past, Present & Future, with 6 selected classics from @hidetsugu_ueno @barhighfive given both a present and future twist by Nick Wu and Ronnaporn from @backstagecocktailbar. I would always skip over a Bloody Mary on the menu, so decided to try their present and future variations of these, devouring both! Grapefruit and Ginger Margarita.⠀

Ginger Liqueur ⠀
Freshly squeezed lime juice⠀
Freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice⠀
1 egg white (room temperature)⠀
Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously until the ice as melted. Double strain into your favorite cocktail glass. Wait for the foam to settle and garnish with an edible flower.⠀

What is better mid week, than to join some strangers at The Dinner Party Project? We had a wild ride the other night with these folks: a Photo Studio Assistant, who is a working mom and also throws her own fabulous Dinner Parties!, a Guest from Midwest who works corporately for Sheraton, a Guest who helped to start the Disney Channel who is from Cali while spending summers in PR and now is in Real Estate Financing, a Guest who does Sales for A/V did Gaylord Palms, who started her own Event company @saveadateevents recently, a Mom of three who worked for FL Hospital for many years and now wants to write a book and own a postal store, a Guest who used to be Cruise Director now does Sales for Marriott Vacation Club, a Guest from Jamaica who has travelled the world with her military family, who wants to work NBC. 25 ml Zitronensaft
15 ml Zuckersirup
30 ml naturtrübem Apfelsaft
12 große Blätter Minze
Minze grob zerkleinern und im Cocktail-Shaker mit den anderen Zutaten auffüllen. Kräftig schütteln, um die Minze zu zerkleinern, und anschließend über crushed ice in ein Old-Fashioned-Glas gießen. Mit gefächerten Apfelscheiben und einem Zweig Minze garnieren. Sláinte!

Gettin’ Figgy Wit It
The past couple weeks I’ve been macerating fig into some bourbon, and now it’s finally ready 🙌🏻. Let’s get figgy with my first fig-infused-bourbon: Gettin’ Figgy Wit It. The subtle sweetness of fig meshes with a little bit of ginger liqueur and lemon juice, making a refreshing supper for fall or spring. And this is the point where I’m supposed to make a Will Smith pun...
1 1/2 oz fig bourbon
1/4 oz Ginger Liqueur
1/4 oz @derelictairship Jasmine Liqueur
1/2 oz maple syrup
3/4 oz lemon juice
3 dashes Angostura bitters
Shake, double strain into an Old Fashioned glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a couple figs and enjoy
