I completely forgot to show you this little lady! Better late than never, even if Christmas is long gone 😂 She was a gift for Chris when I went to my first ever Cozy Club @thecozyclubx
Sorry about the poor photos - I’d forgotten to take any until I was wrapping her carefully up to travel with me! She is now named Miss Cozy Christmas ❤️🎄🧚♀️

Sleep tight Clover.... until December 1st and we buy our next Christmas tree .... that's only 332 days!! We still love our @proverbialdaisy Christmas fairy .... it is nice to get back to normality though as Christmas ascends to the loft.
Who can name this plant/flower? Hint: It's from Costa Rica. It's the most colorful flower we've seen yet. It's fuzzy and about 4 feet in length. Costa Rica is abundant with beautiful wildlife.
This is the coolest flower we've seen, but the coolest insect we've seen is the Click Beetle. It wasn't until last night (our final night in the treehouse) that we got a close enough look to identify it online. .🔎
The first time it appeared, my mom was reading in the dark on her bed. From the corner of her eye she sees a bright orange light floating around the kitchen like a fire ember. In an excited voice she calls me down from upstairs to hurry and see this anonymous light!! I was too late. .🔦
The next morning she kept insisting that there was an iluminating creature that entered the treehouse! Being that it happened on the night of Christmas we humorously dubbed whatever she saw, "The Christmas Fairy". .🎄
For the last week my mom kept talking about The Christmas Fairy. She wanted us to find out what it was. She'd say things like, "I swear, it was really bright!... I think it might be a rare thing I saw... I'm not lying, it was so weird you guys..." Eventually I was tired of hearing about this weird light that wandered the kitchen.
Fast forward to last night, and we finally saw it! You're not crazy mom! It was so cool. It's a beetle about 2cm long, with two yellow illuminating dots on its head, and a big amber dot glowing on its back. It floated in just like it did on our first night. It was much much brighter and bigger than a firefly; it was the coolest illuminating insect.
I like the Click Beetle, but I prefer if we keep pretending that it was The Christmas Fairy. We can just say that it was coming to say goodbye to us on our last night together. 🤗
I didn't get a good picture of the beetle so I didn't post it here (hence the flower), but you can see it on our Facebook post @lostfordaysss
