These are pics from a week ago. I bought one of these to try. I actually LOVE #Indiancuisine but it aint cheap at all! And the portions when you split with one mini me is sad lol. One plate of food is all you need for yourself even though the portions are small but when your a parent those NYC Chinese food portions are what works when you are a #Frugalmom like myself on a budget lol. If you dont know what Im talking about (shruggs) Anyway, I was always tempted to get this dish so I stopped looking at my favorite Indian Food spot as an option to order from since I went green. But I so happened to find the dish.....A VERY SMALL SERVING in the frozen food isle recently #ChickenTikkaMasala with #GingerGarlicPilaf by #BombayKitchen . Vegan and all I picked one up. Just one to try and talk about here!
Now, as for the #FoodReview and being a #Foodie I have to tell you that the sauce was authentic and so was the #Basmatirice ! I really enjoyed that. Now, when it came to the chicken I INSPECTED each lil chunk and found a couple of pieces of "white meat" that had the CLASSIC glue binding the meat together in the inside that was a TURN OFF and another reason to leave meat/chicken alone. My mini me ate with me and liked it but was mad when I refused to allow him to eat the obvious glue parts I picked out 😧 In any case he ended up asking for more.... Because of this dish I have added some indian spices and sauces to next months grocery list and I promise to share my Vegan chicken Masala then! You guys should ALREADY know which veggie will be up in it 😂😂 acting as chicken #ijs ▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪☆☆☆☆▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪☆☆☆☆▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪ As for reccomendation for this frozen Indian dish I will still reccommend for I know many wont care about the glue binding bit. Many will tell themselves it's apart of the chicken lol okay. And because the sauce was truely good and the 6 spoonfuls of rice was good I would reccomend to those who are NOT VEGAN and who love Indian food! #JustkeepingitReal But if you are trying to be healthy but still wanna try this dish I would reccommend you find a good Indian food Resturant to get a "better" quality portion of chicken or even an #Vegan option if available!
