Chantecaille Vital Essence, Magnolia, Jasmine and Lily Healing Emulsion, and Flower Harmonizing Cream.
When it comes to skincare, I always believe “less is more”, especially when my skin type is combination (oily on T-zone, normal on other parts, and have breakouts all year round) and sensitive sometimes. I switched to Chantecaille since 2017, and I love that they are natural (to a certain extent) and are free of bad ingredients such as mineral oil (which can cause breakouts easily) and GMOs. I have emptied two bottles of vital essence, one bottle of magnolia, Jasmine and Lily Healing Emulsion, and two jars of Flower Harmonizing Cream now. They smooth and moisturise my skin without aggravating my pimples, and can be absorbed by my skin easily. Their smells are so nice and natural.
I apply vital essence and healing emulsion in the morning. As for night, I use vital essence and flower harmonizing cream. Vital essence is a very basic and calming essence that can help prepare your skin for the subsequent skincare procedures. If you used to apply a serum, you can first use the vital essence and then a serum of your choice and lastly a face cream.
Regarding the two moisturisers (the emulsion and cream), they can actually be used both day and night, but I prefer the more lightweight emulsion for the day and the more nourishing harmonising cream for the night.
I will definitely re-purchase them. And I hope you like this kind of sharing. Thanks for reading! ❤️ Have you tried these products and what are your views on them?
It’s been such a LONG week, and you STILL wanna get your game on tonight? Chantecaille’s Friday night fix to look your best! Gold energizing Eye recovery mask AND Biolift mask to the rescue! Twenty minutes of YOU time and you might just look like you took ten years off! ⭐️👌🏻🤩🤩❤️
Chantecaille Super Lip Sheer Eclipse: 2 swipes of Eclipse under different light. Super sheer is indeed 'super' because it is even sheerer than the regular lip sheer but it is also more moisturizing and lasting. The lipstick is stiffer and less easy to melt compare to regular lip sheer.
Chantecaille Lip Chic Cleyon: Two swipes of Cleyon. It is deeper and browner in real life. The lipstick is stiffer in texture and seems to serve as lip gloss. The colour and glossiness survives several hours without the need to reapply. Possibly my favourite among the lip chic that I currently own.
Chantecaille Lip Sheer Pluto: 2 swipes of Pluto. MLBB. Need to reapply every few hours because the moisturizing effect and the colour fade quickly. When it gone it gone without any stain so lip sheer is a good choice for travel.
Cocooning can wait! When it’s a balmy above zero, go winter tubing the Chantecaille way with a dab of anti-glycation primer/sunscreen, a drop of Just Skin in Glow and a dollop of cheek gelée in Lively (just in case you aren’t feeling it yet)! Now get out there and frolic! ❄️⛸🏂⛷☀️
"Winter deep freeze is finally here!" said nobody....ever. But if you simply can't stay in and chill, you can at least protect and nourish your skin with Biolift Cream Plus before stepping out into the elements! Then wrap up the day in our Biolift Mask (you can sleep in it too!) Cocoon in comfy skin to help beat the winter blahs! We got you covered this winter! 💁🏻❄️🌬❤️
I’m really pleased with how my makeup turned out today!
Eyes: @makeupforeverca Artist Shadows in M-816 Rosewood, D-708 Pinky Copper, I-824 Ocher Pink – I’m so sad that these have been reformulated! These are some of the best eyeshadows I’ve ever used. I’m kind of hoping that these go on sale so I can purchase a few other colours. I do not plan on trying the new formula because I’m bitter (and I don’t really need more eyeshadow…). Cheeks: @chantecaille Protect the Wolves blush in Ella – I wear this sparingly because I want to preserve the imprint. This is a soft, neutral pink that wears nicely. I love this, but I probably won’t purchase other makeup with intricate designs because I feel guilty using it.
Lips: @tomford Matte Lip Colour in Pussycat – I’ve had this for over two years and I still love the formula. The vanilla scent is gone, but it doesn’t smell rancid or anything. I’m tempted to purchase a few of the new shades, but I don’t think I can justify the price and some of the names are a bit questionable.
Check out my story to see swatches.
