Spring time is always a good time when it comes to maple festivals 😋Took the kids to the Sweetwater Harvest Festival today as the weather was perfect. On our hike through the marsh, we came across this one hut that was brewing cedar tea. I have never tasted cedar tea and never thought that this popular tree has so many health benefits 🙌Cedar has a high amount of vitamin C, which is a valuable source in the dead of winter. Natives helped early European conquerors (or “settlers”) survive scurvy by giving them cedar tea. Cedar tea can be toxic if too much is consumed. Be careful not to drink more than one cup per day, and don't drink cedar tea every day. An average of 3 cups per week is the right amount to reap the benefits. There is a lot of information about cedar and the different types of uses. Please do your research before trying cedar tea. I have copied and paste some of the information from this website.
Focus. Prioritize. Set a goal. One thing at a time.
Never loose focus of your dreams. Surrounding myself with people, places and beautiful things helps to keep myself in the best feeling place possible 🙏🏾✨ #trees#cedartree#lovemylife#hiking#yyj#sundayfunday
Taking Good Care of Your Clothes
"With great power comes great responsibility."
Also, with great clothes comes great responsibility ... to take care of them well.
In terms of wool garments - suits, jackets, trousers & sweaters - part of my maintenance routine is to freshen them up by hanging them outside for a couple of hours after use. This is usually enough to avoid the need for dry cleaning, which is far from ideal for a wool cloth.
Also, when travelling, a trick I use is to steam the jacket/suit in the shower to keep it fresh and to take care of possible wrinkles from the travel.
Another factor is to use a good garment brush to further take care of your jackets and trousers.
Last but not least, I ensure to hang them well in the closet. No thin unshaped hangers are allowed to come near my jackets. Well shaped with the right width is a basic requirement. Also, I prefer to use cedar tree for a part of my hangers. Cedar absorbs moisture, protects from moths and other harmful insects, and adds a nice scent.
What is your routine for taking good care of your beloved garments?

The piece that started it all!
It was one thing to come up with the idea, and a complete other to execute it✨ It was then and there that I realized the thing I love most, CRAFTS!
