Finally desserts! Introducing one of my favorite desserts CREPE!
I tried those three crepes at different locations, two in Taiwan and one in Carrollton TX. My favorite one is the first crepe because the cream is so smooth and I finished it in probably 1.5 mins. The second store is in Xinyi district Taipei city named Mac&Hill. They have very special flavor such as bubble milk tea flavor. Give it a try if you are in Taipei, it will not let you down! The third store (T-swirl). It is a little far away from Dallas city but the crepe is very tasty. It is harder to find crepe store in the US so I would recommend trying one if there is any crepe store around your area. I also recommend adding ice cream on the crepe because ice cream makes it taste much better🍦
Happy St. Patty 's day! My maternal Grandmother Alice O’Kelly raised us to believe we are 100% Irish. She was ferociously proud of her ancestors who rode a boat here from Antrim in 1832 and became wealthy merchants on the great Mississippi River. Half of the family died in the great yellow fever epidemic of 1853 and when the Civil War hit, every O’Kelly man still left valiantly joined the Confederacy. She told us of the woe and sorrows they faced after the war was lost with so much emotion that I was 10 before I realized that she couldn’t possibly have lived through it. She ‘politely’ forgot that my light skinned dad is technically black according to the law. His great grandmother was a born a slave on a Mississippi plantation and that side of my family story of the war was much different than hers. My DNA test shows that I am only 22% Irish and a whopping 24% from the Ivory Coast. The rest of me is French and German. I’m the great American mutt and damned proud of it. Today is the one day of the year that I’m an O’Kelly through and through. Shortly I will be on Magazine street kissing drunk strangers for paper flowers and drinking Jameson straight from the bottle. Hope to see all y’all there!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀💚 Our Montessori students had so much fun celebrating yesterday. They searched for Leprechauns and their pots of gold, and learned to dance an Irish Gig! The Leprechauns visited each of the Montessori classes and left treats for the students. #cssh#carrollton#stpatricksday#WeAreSacredHeart
