Working with a wonderful crew today raising funds for the Scott Firefighter Stairclimb that supports the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - Washington/Alaska Chapter in cancer research. A HUGE Thank you to the residents of Maple Valley, Black Diamond and Ravensdale and the Maple Valley Fred Myers. We truly thank you for your support!! You helped us each raised 350 dollars. That’s just over 2,100 dollars all going to cancer research. #ClimbConquerCure

I AM A SURVIVOR!! 🙏🏻💪🏻🎗#bonemarrowtransplant#beadonor#savelife#annonymousheros#thankgod 🙏 #cancerfree

This has been one of our foundational fight scriptures since we were diagnosed last July. Was going over it again this morning and looked it up in the Amplified translation. I was absolutely blown away that it specifically mentions marrow and nerves. I don’t typically go to the Amplified as an alternative translation. I think it’s my ability to see shiny things and get distracted so easily. 🐿 What an amazing gift and a booster shot in our faith as we continue this journey. One of the side effects we’ve found out to be common with chemo is neuropathy in the extremities. While God’s grace has protected my body from much of the harm of months of chemo and meds, I am experiencing some in my left foot. Seeing this expanded version of this promise gives me a reason to be more specific in what we pray for and continue to trust for our healing and kicking this stupid disease in its stupid face. #TeamHall#kickingleukemiaintheface#transplant#cancerfree#bethematch
As private and secluded as I am I decided to share this little birthday tribute to myself. 3 years cancer free meaning it took me 3 years to be comfortable with some of these images. I’ve been hesitant on even showing this just because of the severity and insecurity I experienced during this ordeal but hey it could have been worse and I’m back to being fine anyway! 😂 Anyway, I keep getting asked what I’m doing for my birthday and it’s led me to reflecting on the past couple of years of my life. 2015 I was diagnosed with Tongue Cancer (Never been a smoker) I was sick as a kid too so my genes are all fucked! Thank God my kids are A-1. Anyway tongue cancer led to me having to go Neck dissection to remove lymph nodes from my neck and some of my tongue and then Chemo and Radiation. The chemo had me looking like Yoshi y’all 😂😂 and the radiation burnt the hell out of me, mix both of those and I looked like a bloated Westly Snipes with bumps! 😂😂🤦🏽♀️ All jokes aside the diagnosis was not a good one and I could have lost my life. My family was there 100% and that’s why the friend thing doesn’t matter to me now. 🤷🏾♀️ After my last dose of radiation and chemo I worked on getting healthy and against doctor’s orders (who said to terminate because it was way too early and either only one of us would make it or neither on August 29, 2016 I welcomed a beautiful healthy little girl. Now 2018 and I’m back healthy, back being the best mother I can be, in Cali living my best life ever, cancer free and celebrating my 29th birthday not doing anything but being THANKFUL/Grateful for another year at life because it could have been worse. So many don’t survive but I DID! Happy Birthday to me! February 19th! 🎁🎈🎉🎊 #survivor#cancerfree#cancersurvivor#grateful#blessed
“When nature meets science”
Yesterday morning we had the pleasure to experience and try live, the unique skin care line created by USANA, The Cellular Nutrition Company.
The Canadian launch has been done having at the beginning a very educational session where USANA explained the skin as an organ, the functionality and its needs in order to preserve the youthful look as long as scientifically possible.
The end was a super fun session where all over 600 people in the room had a full skin facial with all the products….the testimonials for only 30 days were blowing our minds….extremely impressive.
CELAVIVE is potented by the USANA INCELLIGENCE technology and it has ☀️the OLIVOL extract, ☀️water melon extract, ☀️apple extract, ☀️lentil extract and many other powerful enzymes that regenerate, detoxify and nurture our cells revitalizing the youthful look of our skin.
First of all and this is very important, CELAVIVE dosen’t have any toxic product for our health as the ones used on most of the skin care lines:
Either you want to try one of the best skin care products that science can make, available on the market today or you are looking for a healthy financial opportunity, Usana can provide you both.
For now, CELAVIVE is available in NORTH AMERICA and soon shall be available in EUROPE too.
Y’all. This 👏🏼 lady 👏🏼 kicks 👏🏼 butt. I met her not long after I started at my current store. She was battling several types of cancer (and had *no* hair) and was just not herself. The other night she came in and we got to celebrate! She’s been CANCER FREE for 5 months now (and has beautiful hair)! This job has certainly been a different one and Karen is certainly one of my favorite customers. God works miracles y’all.
From us cross dressing in our parents clothing to perfom as Diana Ross or us reenacting Luke & Laura’s epic escape on Général Hospital.
To even our arguments on who was better, Frankie Bones or Adam X on our train rides home from the Limelight.
To our more recent arguments on who should’ve won this seasons Dragrace, how the last Star Wars wasn’t good or how do I not know who Jessie Williams is?
We’ve been by each other’s side like the dynamic duo fighting each others battles.
But we haven’t always seen each other eye to eye but that’s part of growing up. One day you’re there and others you aren’t. But those times apart have made us the brother and sister that we are.
A day doesn’t go by that I don’t think about how things could’ve been a lot different today. I rather bite my nails after every hospital visit than having to remember that last visit.
So as we sit and watch Def Comedy Jam and you look over your shoulder and scream..... “ I hope you’re not writing no shit you think Im gonna proof read on my birthday”! Ericka, life is full of ups and downs. But no matter what curve ball life throws us. I’ll be there for you even though you’re not there for me right now to proof read this shit.
Happy Birthday Ericka, I love you and I’m looking forward celebrating your next 50 birthdays!! 🍷🍿🎂🍭🍾🥂🍻🍸🍺🥃🍭❤️💕😀
