WHAT TO #EAT IN #UGANDA 🇺🇬👅🍍🍇
Uganda is well known for its fertile alluvial soils, formed as a result of volcanic eruptions. These type of soils are rich in nutrients that enables a healthy growth of plants. .……............................🌱🌱😊😊My most exciting part about providing information to Adventure travellers that are interested to #visituganda , is when they ask about what food they are going to eat???????? 🤔🤔 I usually ask travellers what food do they love to eat? ..............................................Uganda is well known in East Africa for its vast agricultural produce. The highest population being dominantly farmers, and fishermen. This gives the #adventuretraveler many fresh alternatives to chose from. Uganda is one of the main producers of all kinds of plantain (bananas 🍌🍌🍌🍌) , vast verity of wild fruits 🍉, greens and vegetables, nuts 🥜. The pastoralist or Nomads in the northern part , farmer most farmers in the southwest and central are well known for rearing animals (cattle). This means that the meat lovers 🥓🍗🍔 will not miss out on the steak.
Most food produce are generally #Organic . Never mis out on the Ugandan Bananas, that's why #gorillas , #baboons and #chimpanzee are not extinct... @kaliadventures
It's that time again, Travel Tip Thursday! So here are you tips for the week Your Own Italy fans.
1. Be sure to get off the beaten path. Don't just go on tours of the places you've heard about on TV, try something new, see someplace different. Traveling to another country isn't just about seeing the "big" sights, it's about truly experiencing another culture.
2. This might seem strange to many of our US travelers, but in Italy it is required by law that all accommodations register guests with the local police. So upon check-in, you will be asked for your passport. Don't worry though, they'll get it back to you ASAP.
