The 44-year-old fitness guru was the final trainer to hit the scales, and feared she had been left till last because she had put on the most weight. She was right. Bridges gained a total of 7.6kg after her week with the Jofre family." These are people with extremely good body figures and health conditions, therefore everything they eat, they get to absorb them nutritions: fats, carbohydrates, protein etc easily. Probably you might be or know that one or two people around you that eats more than 5 meals and still NOT gain weight. THEY have their digestive system completely screwed up and there's totally nothing to be proud of that.
For the standard case scenario in Malaysia, people eat fast food every now and then simply because: they are served fast, they are convenient (are at locations that are easy to access to) or simply because they provide delivery services directly to your doorstep. From the news link attached at the very beginning, the contestants gained an average of 5-7 kgs in a week, assuming 21 fast food meals, that's average of 0.24-0.33 kg gained per meal of fast food without exercising, provided you have a working digestive system!
Due to laziness, habit or peer pressure, people naturally tend to go for the more popular option without thinking whether it is actually the healthier option or not - they just ... eat it. Tag your friend that loves fast food that you care and think that they should be aware!
