Dressing for Winter Workouts

If you are avoiding your workouts in the cold because your last one was miserable, plan right so you can get back outside and moving! Wear layers. Layering is the key to avoid over or under dressing. Wear a layer that blocks the wind, tights, pants and a top that can wick the moisture from your skin. A mid layer, like fleece, may be best for cold days.
Also grab a hat or headband and gloves. Your body temperature increases when you run so you will not need as many layers as you think.

It is also important that you dress for 15 to 20 degrees warmer. It is easy to overdress, making your run miserable. This is another reason layering is important – you can remove a layer if you get too warm.

I still am pretty sick, but I couldn’t sit around the house any longer, so I decided to hit chest and Lats today. My energy levels are very low, but I try to push through each and every rep. .

🥗Meal prep sunday!🍣This Japanese inspired meal prep helps me not get bored with meals, bc I always like to get more variety. The first line are my veggies(rich in vitamins). The second and third line are my proteins. The bottom line includes all my salad toppings for the following week. As you can see from the picture, the tuna steak and fresh sea urchin (uni) are awesome except a bit pricy. Super excited for that. The three ingredients protein 🍫 brownie are super tasty too(recipe from @thebigmansworld ). I am also thinking about prepping too much for the following week. Because my current fitness goal is to lose weight and tone my body. So maybe next week gonna cut off some high carbs/sugar foods. Anyone else get their meal prep done today?
