Because we have such a small entryway and because we have 4 kids who all have lots of “stuff”, I had my husband make this board and batten wall with plenty of hooks for bags, purses, and jackets. Everyone has their own hook and it’s helped so much having a spot to put our things when we first walk in the door. 🏡
Finished up this board and batten in my sons room. I used mdf 1/2 inch and had Home Depot cut it down into 3 inch pieces and one 7 1/2 piece.i cut bottoms at a 45 degree angle and added two 1 by 4 on top and placed crown molding on top as well. The hardest part was making sure the battens were spaced enough a part and equally. Next up, need to paint his room, which is why there’s while paint everywhere.. didn’t tape off the Wall bc I knew it would be painted anyway. .
This sweet little plum is always the first to bust out her spring wardrobe. I think she may be a bit chilly with this morning frost, I’m tempted to wrap her in pink cashmere to compliment her soft petals.
So our living room wall project was completed yesterday! HUGE thanks to @lurk84 for all his hard work this week. I love the #boardandbatten wall look so i thought our living room wall was the perfect spot for it. Tap for sources.
Finally got around to sharing my interior painted doors. I love how paint can totally transform a space! You can also see our DIY board and batten in the hallway here, and a sneak peak of the in-progress dining room. I still need to add another framed botanical on this wall, but definitely making progress on adding some farmhouse charm to this space.
