Motivational Saturday -
Nigerian-American athlete Seun Adigun (@seun_msamazing) and her teammates are making history. They’re the first African bobsled team to qualify for the Winter Olympics. “It feels absolutely amazing,” says Seun, who was born in the U.S. to Nigerian immigrant parents. “It’s surreal on a daily basis.” 🇳🇬 The Winter Olympics (@olympics) are taking place in Pyeongchang, South Korea, February 9-25.

The story behind this dress as told by @eleanorgoodeyphotography "Kemi you are making a dress that no one can afford!!!! That’s what I said to her the second time she called saying she had run out of feathers!!! Yes I know she calmly said... like a woman possessed... she kept acquiring all the ostrich feathers in lagos... at a point it got so scarce that I told her to consider adding chicken feathers and dyeing it red 🤣🤣 what could I do but bring comic relief to her??... she worked herself to the bone... so many sleepless nights... of course I can identify with her... as an artist of any kind ... creativity supersedes everything.... she wanted it and she made it... never mind the cost and pain.... that’s the can do spirit that has brought her to where she is today!"
