At the start of a new week I like to really focus on what my goals are for the next 7 days. I find other than for big things it’s hard to plan ahead much more than that. But short term goals can be really focussed and help you get to your long term goals in considered steps. This week it’s about hours in the saddle. With two BIG mileage races this year plus two 24 hour races that’s definitely my priority. Ticking off small goals helps improve your confidence that you’re heading in the right direction.
