Uno de los preferidos de mi 🏠!
Cazuela negra de champiñones 🍄 + puré de papa 🥔 + Arroz 🍚 + ensalada 🥗.
Este es un almuerzo que me encanta preparar en ocasiones especiales ☺️. Por lo general lo acompaño con ensalada de aguacate 🥑 y tomate 🍅 que es mi favorita! Pero no tenia aguacates maduros 😢 así que tocó cambiarlo por pepino 🥒 que también es delicioso!
Para preparar la cazuela:
• Poner a tostar 2 cdas de harina integral hasta que tome un color como “café con leche”
• Agregar 1 taza de agua 💧y revolver bien.
Poner a espesar.
• Echar champiñones cortados y arvejas tiernas, sal y pimienta al gusto, revolver y dejar cocinar.
• Agregar 1 1/2 cdas de crema de coco 🥥, revolver y servir
Para preparar el puré de papa:
• Pelar y cortar las papas y ponerla a cocinar en agua.
• Cuando estén suaves, quitarles el agua y hacerlas puré (yo uso un tenedor) y ponerlo a cocinar a fuego bajo.
• Agregar un chorrito de leche de coco, sal y pimienta al gusto y cocinar por 2-3 min.
• Agregar crema de coco 🥥, revolver bien y servir
Tienen que intentarlo, de verdad que es delicioso!!

1 x sachet of @amazoniaco açai
1 x frozen zucchini (peeled first)
1.5 x bananas
1 x cup frozen organic mixed berries
1 x handful frozen organic blueberries
1 x Tbsp @organicburst maca powder
1.5 x tsp @organicburst spirilina
Topped with: @nakulaorganic coconut yogurt, hemp seeds, berries, mango, banana and walnuts.

I’ve been dealing with a sick baby all week and packing up a house all day so I definitely needed this to perk me up.
When your little one is fed, bathed (because break fast is messy 🤷♀️) and down for her nap before 9am it means it means it’s time for mumma to be productive! A Macca latte and a healthy breakfast filled with chia pudding, @nakulaorganic coconut yogurt, fresh berries and mixed nuts helps to get me into the zone and buckle down into my uni work.

Most of us live in a constant state of distraction. Our attention spans are estimated to be around 6 seconds before we move on to the next thought. That is mind blowing! It is no wonder we are so quick to give up, lose patience, and constantly chase the “latest and greatest” when it comes to our health (and really a multitude of other things for that matter). I’m here to offer you some advice: GUARD YOUR MIND! As in, eliminate the external influences that make you think you’re doing it all wrong. Stop consuming videos, FB feeds, and IG posts that steer you away from what your instincts are telling you. YOUR BODY is perfectly capable of doing what nature designed it to! Why don’t you just let it do it’s thing? You don’t always have to be on a mission to lose fat, cut carbs, add in more cardio or whatever it is you think you need to be doing. All of these fad diets, magic pills, and workout programs WILL NOT change your behaviors, make you motivated, or shift your thinking patterns. Quit distracting yourself with “quick fix” mentalities. When you are truly HAPPY- you WILL naturally gravitate towards and attract the lifestyle and healthy habits you desire.

These snack sized bites are filled with protein, healthy fats, and body nourishing foods to help you combat the day! The best part is that this recipe is so easy to alter to whatever you have in the house!
1 x cup almonds (sub whatever nuts you have)
1 x cup walnuts (sub whatever nuts you have)
1/4 x cup hemp seeds
A pinch of cinnamon
1.5 x Tbsp of unhulled tahini
A pinch of sea salt
2 x Tbsp of coconut nectar (sub maple syrup, rice malt syrup or for a completely sugar free option you could use coconut oil, obviously the recipe wouldn’t be oil free if you choose this)
Pop all ingredients in a food processor or if you don’t have one you could just chop the nuts up for more texture or use a blender for less texture.
Store in the fridge and try and control your self with just one bliss ball ;) happy hump day!

In terms of ”health” I think we have gotten WAY off track with our focus. We over consume conflicting content, constantly compare ourselves to others, and look for validation from everyone but ourselves. Y’all... Let’s put this to rest. There is no need to reinvent the wheel here. All we need to do is SLOW DOWN. We need more “face” and less screen time, more conversations and less texts, more actual hugs and less emojis, more walks less H.I.I.T, more whole foods instead of diets, earlier bed times and less late nights. We haven’t lost our ability to function and live healthy lifestyles, we’ve just lost earshot of what our instincts are trying to tell us. When we’re children, we eat, play, and sleep naturally without even having to think. It’s only after we are exposed to convenience, greed and negative social influence that we begin believing that we are lacking, not good enough, or unable to trust our bodies. It’s absolutely heartbreaking. I want to remind whoever’s reading this today that, you’re only as healthy as what you think. I know we hear it a lot but I cannot stress it enough... your mindset is the precursor to how you experience everything in life. When your mind is in the right place, the “good” behaviors and habits will happen naturally.
