Up in Townsville to support some of the @mackaypowerlifting competitors and @deanillguth as he returns to competition.
Went over to worlds gym for some back and arms with my mate @kahn_stephenson.
Used some @lwthemachine Tetris press to kick off tri’s with, 100kg today but will look to increase this up to 140 as an accessory to the incline.
Also got some sets in on a hammer strength pullover machine which is one of my favourite pieces of equipment to train the lats.
Double posting but fuck it cause I'm so happy with my bench today. Was planning for 3x5 with 95 kg after working up to a single, pushed it on last set and got a rep PR of 8 reps! The stars must be aligned a certain ways for this to happen 🤔.

We train for months and months, for one day. The training we do, expresses itself in the results of the day 💪
A lot of people may think of “training” as coming into the gym and lifting weights 🤔
If that was “training”, does that mean they are going to have a good competition? Because they lifted weights for months? F*ck no❗️
There are far more variables that exist that determine your end performance on the platform.
My boys today showed me they have done a lot more these past few months than “lift weights”, and I am so proud of you all 🙏
