I am feeling better and I look better. When I went into this I told myself and co-workers I wasn’t going to be one of those people taking selfies in the mirror in sports bras. But I’m going back on what I said... When I said that I was embarrassed of my looks, embarrassed taking pictures. I wanted to get back to the old me.. smiling for pictures, always jumping in front of the camera. Some of you only know me since I’ve been sober. The drunk me... was silly and funny and outspoken, loud, crazy... whoever I wanted to be. Since being sober I’m still finding myself, sobering up does a complete 180 on your chemical balance or imbalance 😝 I’m learning to be that young me, the free me because I know I can’t go back to the drunk me. So everyday I get a little more funny, silly, crazy, wild... the best part is I will remember it all 😂 Maybe you’re not a drunk, maybe you’re not even fat... you just want to head in a new direction ➡️ To become a better version of you. I can help, I’ve been there ❤️✊💪 #betterversion#drunk#silly#wild#crazy#newdirection#soberliving#soberlife#wanttobehappy#wanteverything#bemyownboss#momofboys#hockeymom
Got to say at certain times of the month, I’m so thankful that I have an all natural pain reliever...
I’ve never been much into taking over the counter meds if I can help it. BUT when I can take a supplement that has tumeric as one of the ingredients, which in turn has so many other health benefits for my body...
I’d say it’s a WIN WIN for the situation 👌
Guys... this is just as helpful for you, as there are many benefits for men as well 😉

I've now done over 50 plus interviews for @SuccessUnfiltered.⠀
Every episode involves talking about other people's biggest "NO's", and biggest rejections that they had in their life to create their of version of success today.⠀
Some of my biggest "NO's" are sprinkled in those episodes, but I thought I would give you another one...⠀
I once applied to be on a show that you might know, and you might still even watch. I still watch it to this day... @sharktankabc.⠀
There's a whole process that you go through to even get to stand in front of the sharks.⠀
Just to put it in perspective, 30 thousand people applied in season 4 (the season I tried out for). 146 of us were invited to Los Angeles to make our pitch to the producers.⠀
Once you're past the producers, you get to go and pitch the sharks. I was one of those! However, being so close to L.A., I was considered a local.⠀
There were a couple times when I had stayed in L.A. from Thursday to Saturday, went through hair and makeup and was set to go on with the Sharks, when I was instead, sent home because they only tape for 8 hours at a time.⠀
So, I was sent home.⠀
They tell you from the start that there's never a guarantee that you're going to have the opportunity to come back and pitch, but that they'll just keep you posted.⠀
That's the line I received, so I got really good at being told "NO."⠀
I became an expert at hearing it!⠀
But, what I started to shift was, how I saw these "NO's" as, "Okay, this just bought me more time to practice my pitch even more. This bought me more time to work with my investors to get even more practice."⠀
I always thought from a positive and it was only with so many NO's and so many set-backs that I was able to even see the potential. "Well, what if I just changed what I was thinking?"⠀
How have your NO's changed or shaped the way that you think?⠀

No A/C, hot summers in Texas and a cheap wal-mart fan plugged into the cig lighter of my 83 GMC to keep my face cool. I drove an hour to and from college that way for years. Man, the sacrifices I made to attend college, the cars I detailed to earn income while in college, the studying, the stress, the thousands of dollars of student loan debt. 4 years of it to go into a job I no doubt wanted, but where I knew exactly what I'd earn, and my first glimpse at absolute time freedom would be when I retired.
Amazes me sometimes how folks can start their own business for less then $100, where there is no limit on earnings and time freedom is a real possibility, but they throw the towel in within a week. We have been conditioned by society that going to college 4 years or more, getting into big debt, going on 1 "vacation" a year that took a year of saving up to go on but it's not really a vacation because you stress over every expense made while on it, and working for a set income the rest of our life is the "best way" or the "American Dream". I would argue that.
Lived in a trailer growing up👀
We went to same tiny school together🏫
My friend Jeremy was a single dad working hard with little time freedom when I reached out to him. He said,"What if it dont work?" I said,"What if it does?"
He now makes a very solid 6 figure income and best of all has complete time freedom with his kids. No telling how many people have denied themselves and others greatness because that voice said,"What if it dont..."
I have lots of dreams!
Some of them came true.
But still a lot on my list ;-)
Thanks to my readings, my mindset is today ready to go further. I have stopped focusing on the results and on my dreams. Instead I plan and do actions that will help me achieving my dreams! I am so grateful to have learnt this new mindset. Less frustration, more gratitude and more ACTION!
What's you biggest dream?
My boy had a passport at 4 months and has seen more beaches at 12 months old then most grown men. Here he is waiting on his cold lemon scented towel at the Ritz Carlton😂 My kids normal will be what my great was growing up. Average is an epidimic, don't settle for it.
CNBC just featured Rodan + Fields as TOPPING $1 Billion dollars in sales in 2017. ‼️And brand awareness is only at 7%‼️ I had to share since I often hear “I have friends who already sell it.” Here’s the thing.... Your network is ultimately different than theirs, trust me, and when you’re given an opportunity like R+F partnered by someone who wants to create change, the success CAN follow‼️
You will have to be coachable and follow a proven system to work and you will see your own business bloom😊👍 Rodan + Fields is currently only available in 3 countries.
Which means there is incredible opportunity for growth.
The plan is to expand to one new country every year❗️ If I can do this so can you🤗👍
It starts with belief and ends with hard work and determination‼️
If it’s been on your mind at all, message me and we can chat. It will only take a few minutes of your time to learn more.
In the mean time, check out some the free press we’ve been receiving below - which ultimately helps me grow my business even more‼️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Read full story posted in comments❗️
Here's some transparent info probably only a few friends know. My first head coaching job I inherited a team that had won 3 games the prior season. My 1st year, we won 16 games. The second season we won 20 and got into the playoffs for the first time in many years.
My 3rd year, a new Athletic Director was hired. On the 1st day he sat me down and asked me how I'd feel to be a girls coach. Translation= GET OUT OF HERE. I went to the Superintendent and told him, he said that is the AD's decision. This was hurtful, I had built a lot of excitement up in the community for the basketball program. But, in Texas, football is king.
From there I went to a bigger school and took the role of assistant and Junior Varsity coach. My JV won District both years and our Varsity program went deep into the playoffs both years, just shy of the State Tourney. The head Basketball coach was moving on for a higher paying job. Naturally, in the coaching world, Id slide right into the head coaching job. Not so fast. The Athletic Director/head football coach met with me and asked me how I'd like to coach JUNIOR HIGH. Then he gave the Varsity coaching job to the freshman basketball coach. Big slap in the face. I worked my tail off both years. From there I said to heck with Texas, and high tailed it to Oklahoma City, took a job as an assistant at a 6A. That is when AdvoCare found me. We ended up losing in the State Championship at the buzzer. Not long after that, I sat down with the principal and told him I had tripled my teaching income and I will be stepping away. That was with part time efffort.
When I made that decision, many family members and friends asked me,"Is it solid?" They were worried about the certainty of it. Certainty? Solid? I had just experienced back to back knife stabbings right in the back. Want to talk about solid? All I know is 5 years later now and we have progressed more and more every year. No fear of getting stabbed in the back, the man in the mirror is the boss. Just celebrated our 25th Anniversary as a company and plans have been made for the next 25. Some things are a blessing in disguise.
A friend I coached along side during a State Championship game in front of 10,000 in Austin asked me to scout out their next playoff opponent while they play at a different location tonight. Oh yes, we about to get them plays, them weaknesses, tendencies, bubble gum they chew, uh huh! They are playing some krunk music in pre-game, got to love playoff atmosphere🏀
