Sometimes you don’t know where to take the next step because you can’t even see the next stair or the small path you’re about to walk. Sometimes you have to take risks without knowing what comes within, you have to do steps with awful pictures in your head of everything that could be happening and how you could be falling down so deep but at least you know, you couldn’t continue walking this path if you don’t do this step. Trust your senses, your inner voice and your hands and feet. They know the way and build the path.

the best thing about mornings... breakfasts like this 😍 #samesamebutdifferent today i finally added my „forever beautiful“- mix (swipe) to bring my açaí bowl to perfection 🤗 I came across @yoursuperfoods due to @earthyandy and got curious to try it ;) ALSO i‘m in love with my new bowl(s) and spoons from @coconutbowls 🙌🏼 it def makes food so much more fun to have it out of a coconut shell  and brings me all the tropical vibes 🤙🏼 (even on days like today when it‘s snowing and -10 degrees C outside 🤯)

My mind, my body, my everything are exhausted this morning...just completed my first 40+ mile training week in well over a yearrrr. And I'm well aware that weekly mileage is about to ⬆. So for the rest of today I'm going to make the most of being able to relax and do very little.

But I'm back today hitting the gym, taking it slow, will be repeating week 5 as I barely started it 🙈 #liss it will be.

My future mom in law got me this awesome gym top in my favorite colour, she's really supportive of my Weightloss journey 😁 #blessedwiththebest  On the upside of my flu and very strangely I lost weight 😱 who would have thought. My eating habits were not as great as they should have been considering I had no energy or drive to prep a meal so it was dad's meals all 12 days. So a total loss of 3.2kg for 2 weeks... can't complain can we ?😁 #bbg #bbgprogress #postflu #weightloss #kaylaitsines #bbg12weekchallenge #week5 #again #iwillcatchup #mominlaw #12wkchallenge #bbgcommunity

Okay... Pancakes waeren auch nicht schlecht. Letzte Woche habe ich zusammen mit Marie Ombré Pancakes gemacht und sie waren himmlisch! 
Später geht‘s dann Sushi essen und sonst werde ich das Haus bei dem Wetter eher nicht verlassen. Was habt ihr heute Schönes vor? 😚

This week I want to introduce an amazing recipe for clean diet and it's good for your taste buds as well😍

Chickpea Fritters😋
1 can chickpeas, drained, well-rinsed then mashed
1/2 red onion, finely diced
1/2 cup chopped zucchini
3 tbsp red wine vinegar
1 tbsp @fixhotsauce
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 cup paleo flour @bobsredmill 
2 tbsp olive oil

Directions: After draining and rinsing chickpeas, place in a bowl and mash w fork. Add all the other ingredients to the bowl.Use your hands to mix well.
Form into 6-8 patties
Cook in pan with plenty of olive oil
place on paper towel after cooked to absorb oil

I’m on my 4th round of BBG and when I started out I did a few challenges for the beginning weeks but my timing was very disheartening (avg 27-31). I remember getting super sad about it and just going off the challenges completely. I had built up a mind set that I can’t do them I’m not good at them. 
Fast forward to today, I woke up all my BBG goals of the week was done. But I wanted to still workout today. Going through the video I’ve saved for working out i choose #kaylaitsines ABB Blast. Then I just happened to open my BBG app and saw the challenge as still pending. I remember on Monday when I was planning my week I thought there is no way in hell I’ll survive this challenge, 100 countdown of skipping/mountain climber & Abb bikes. I thought why not .... if I can’t complete it it’s ok I’ll go slow and do as much as I can. I also came up with this brilliant (totally silly) idea of wearing ankle weights through it, but I thought I’ll take them out hen I’ve completed 50%, this way the end would be really easy for me. 
And I’m soooo glad I did, The ultimate cardio challenge 1.0 done and dusted. 💪🏼
Experienced #deathbykayla but achieved 21.15 mins with ankle weights till the end. 😊

I thought why not .... if I can’t complete it it’s ok I’ll go slow and do as much as I can. I also came up with this brilliant (totally silly) idea of wearing ankle weights through it, but I thought I’ll take them out hen I’ve completed 50%, this way the end would be really easy for me. And I’m soooo glad I did, The ultimate cardio challenge 1.0 done and dusted. 💪🏼 Experienced #deathbykayla  but achieved 21.15 mins with ankle weights till the end. 😊 So girls never doubt yourself !!!!

HELLOOOO EVERYONE! 🙋🏻‍♀️ I thought it was about time I introduced myself and shared a little bit about the person behind the food! So here goes..

👉🏻 My full name is Katherine, but everyone calls me Kat (I only get called Katherine when I get in trouble).
👉🏻 I am 25 years young and work full time for the government in their department of sport as an Executive Support Officer (similar to a PA but my role involves SOOOOO much more than that) this job is incredibly demanding but I absolutely love it and thrive off being busy!
👉🏻 Prior to this I was a supervisor, chef and barista at a local Italian café for 9.5 years and can make a mean coffee! This also cemented my love affair/dependency on that liquid gold.
👉🏻 I have a Bachelor in Fine Art. Yes, I said art not arts - I majored in sculpture and printmaking but also have a keen interest in photography and film (I have few exciting things planned this year so stay tuned!). I absolutely love getting creative but never decided to pursue it as a career.
👉🏻 I have a partner and a doggo – Blake and Boss. I adopted Bossy from the RSPCA 5 years ago (he’s currently still in rehab post knee surgery) and I met Blake at the gym, I suppose you could say it was ‘love at first squat!’ 😂🍑
👉🏻 I am an incredibly positive and happy individual and a firm believer that life is too short to be miserable! If you aren’t happy then do something about it!
👉🏻 I also love to have a laugh and should never be taken too seriously. I am always the first one to laugh at myself in any given situation and am rarely seen without a smile on my face (unless I am hungry then I can get hangry 😂)
👉🏻 Food is my LIFE (if you couldn’t already tell). I love cooking and experimenting with new recipes. I also love feeding people, it makes me happy when my food makes other people happy.
👉🏻 I have a tendency to overthink pretty much anything and everything and care far too much about what other people think of me (one thing I am working on this year).
👉🏻 Being unorganised or unprepared stresses me out and I absolutely HATE being late.
👉🏻 Mint Chocolate is my favourite flavour.
👉🏻 Yellow is my fav colour.

After 9 hours of yoga, I should be dead tired but I am filled with nothing but endorphins & gratitude.

When I signed up for yoga teacher training, I wanted to deepen my practice by learning the asanas properly and learn more about the history of yoga. What I ended up with just 6 months into the training has been more than I could have ever imagined. I have a deeper relationship with myself, my yoga practice, and my life, all while living more intuitively in alignment with my heart. Learning to dance between control and surrender - between pushing and letting go, just by showing up.

Signing up for @bodytempleyoga has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I am SO grateful for my instructor and my kula. Can not wait to see what the next 6 months brings!

Like Mama always said...good things do, in fact, take TIME. 💛 And if what you’re working on happens to be physical, don’t disregard what you can’t see. Oats are such a power breakfast, and if you get them done right they’ll fuel you for a long time! 🥣 my bowl this morning is topped with peanut butter, honey, a mix of berries, chia seeds and a mix of breakfast seeds ✅ I’ve spoken about my frozen berries before, but I just want to reiterate how easy it is to buy fresh and freeze them on your own...just stick the tub in the freezer and voila! Another week another meal prep Sunday complete! I’ve popped a few snaps on my story showing how easy this process can be! This week I used @thebod_ calculator to check my macros/calorie intake. I’ve been feeling a little hungry before bed so I suspected I needed to up my food intake. The calculator confirmed that I can do with an extra snack or two...yes, that’s correct...I need even MORE food! So that brings me to today’s prep. This week on the menu:

🍽 BREAKFAST: Overnight Oats (oats, chia seeds, chopped strawberries, 1tsp peanut butter, 1tsp honey and almond milk)
.
🍽 SNACK: 2 rice cakes and boiled egg
.
🍽 LUNCH: Chicken (or tuna) with mixed salad and 1/2 cup boiled basmati rice
.
🍽 SNACK: 1 tub yoghurt, Carmen’s Muesli Bar + a piece of fruit
.
🍽 DINNER: Made fresh each night. This week I’m making tacos (Mon), pork medallions, mash potato & zucchini (Tues), salmon with Greek salad & risoni (Wed), slow cooked casserole with osso (beef) and veggies (Thursday), Friday is free choice! 😊
