Repost from @raised_in_baseball - - Had a great time last night playing a scrimmage against a local 12u majors team. Both teams had a blast no pressure- the players where fun, coaches where great it was like a sand lot game!! Even got to meet up with an Instagram bro @wdb05 Weston Ballard who can bring the heat on the mound and command the field as a catcher!! Now you know I keep it real!! I had the longest hit of my life I think!! Dropped a tank that hit the warning track at 275 feet. Man I was so proud and so excited!! Not bad for an 11 year old. I was pumped. I was SOOOO PUMPED—- I forgot how to run bases and took my base path all the way out into the grass!! The grass!!! Got thrown out at second!! Live and learn my Baseball brothers. Base running will win games and lose them!! Thanks to the 12u Majors Dallas Raiders for having us out for a scrimmage!

How you practice is paramount to what you practice🔥 #yourenotthatgood#FIO -
Getting work on the tee, and other mechanical oriented drill work to translate is a challenge. It starts with discipline, focus and respecting each rep. Rushing through a round and over swinging are sure fire ways to undermine your progress. Take your time - have a consistent ritual each time you step in the box that prepares you mentally to execute. Takes, mishits, rockets approach them all the same. -

Lateral med ball drills are a sport specific exercise that allow you to mimic your pitching delivery without putting excessive wear and tear on your arm. It also allows you to develop more power and build a more efficient kinetic chain by working on your back leg drive, hip to shoulder separation, front leg stabilization/extension and forward trunk tilt.
