For the first time in my UK life I baked Easter Hot Cross Buns...is this means I grow my roots in here😮😅...anyway...I had a few attempts...In the first go I only made few buns as taking into considaration that they never caught my eye when I was shopping, I was not sure if my Family will like it...(obviously I was not that worried about Maks as he loves English traditional food 😅 but more about Rob and myself too. 😉) But after making the first batch, I actually loved it because they firstly looked more fresh and nicer then the shops' one, and they had lovely ingredients: apple, orange zest, raisins (at the second go I put less raisins as of Maks but in the first batch it was lots of them) etc..I hope you like the photo! I tried to show real, homemade, yummy hot cross buns, and that they are so much better when you bake them yourself....Sorry for the long text...hope you got to this point...if so...don't forget...enjoy your Saturday...❤❤❤ #joannafoodphotography
The great hot x bun study of 2018 - my goal is to find the best hot Cross bun! I will rate it on softness (texture), spice (flavour) and everything nice (total score). Started the morning off with a fresh pit the oven bun from Tivoli Road Bakery in Melbourne.
Can anything beat this???
