We were like Lewis & Clark on this tour, with all our newly acquired navigation skillz! Even discovered we were at the wrong trailhead before slogging miles up the wrong creekbed in EIGHT DEGREES FARENHEIT! #backcountryskiing
Powder skiing has definitely been in short supply, as has my enthusiasm for this reluctant winter in Tahoe, but it sure was nice to get some cold snow under my feet and take the skis out for a little walk today. It’s a little dusty, a little crusty, but my expectations were exceeded and that’s all I really need these days... 📷: #theotherniall#powderskiing#backcountryskiing#winterish#rideliberty
Bonnington Range Traverse! 6 days, 3 huts, 45km and an unknown amount of vertical. Legs were tired, back was sore but we had an incredible time. Final run was waist deep, dry snow, possibly the best run I've ever had.
Many thanks to the boys; @bread.clazen , Tristan, and Phil!
Thanks to the KMC for the huts, firewood and amazing route.
There hasn't been nearly enough snow in Utah this year, but the wintry hoodoos were enchanting nonetheless.
Though as I gazed up the amphitheatre, I could only think... which line would @candidethovex choose? 🤔🎿
