Couldn't finish with the big result we wanted yesterday but still happy with a solid result for the first comp of the year with and easy 123/140 and a lot more left in the tank.
Big thanks to Marty and @triumphweightliftingclub crew for helping out in some extreme heat. Also huge shout out for my suit failing, you da real MVP!
And that's a wrap! A rocky start to competing at my first Australian Open with fighting off a poorly time cold but a huge huge thank you to everyone for the messages today and support the whole way & process. It was truly overwhelming and motivating ❤️
All the prep and training went into today and overall I am happy with the outcome even though it wasn't the perfect comp.
Now onwards and upwards, recover and eat my body weight in food 😎 much love xxx
Today is comp day 🏋🏼♀️. The reason for our first trip of the year up here to Brisbane, where so far we’ve just managed to spend a lot of money on clothes and food 😂. I’ve seen how hard you’ve worked for this over the past few months and I can’t wait to watch you perform out on the platform this afternoon. Wishing you all the best and I know you’ll do yourself and @crossfit_agema proud!! 💕💕 then bring on 🍔 & 🍹 tonight 🙊
The Aus Open was such a Grouse time even though I couldn’t see during my B-Finals run, still was a gnarly time being the first time competing in Slalom on Penrith. I am so great full for @sagekayak coaching me two weeks before and on the last day, can’t wait for next year. #Kayaking#Slalom#AusOpen#Gate11#SlalomKayaking#NextYearImmaTry
