1. FUEL: Eat 3 hours before you run so your body can use the food as fuel.
2. HYDRATE: Water to the body is like oil to a car. If you don't have enough water, your muscles will cramp.
3. GOOD SHOES: If you have shoes that you've been running in for 2 years change them! Too many shoe miles are not good for your feet. Spend money on a good pair shoes and your feet will love you for it!
4. ACTIVE ISOLATED STRETCHING: Stretch the muscles you are going to use for running in reps of ten. Don't hold the stretch for more than two seconds. Each rep you do, try to get more range of motion. This will help your performance BIG TIME.
