So my day was planned, go a run at 845am before my class at 930. As the time came closer to driving up to leave my car and start my run ALL these excuses were going through my head why I shouldn’t do the run...🤔 As I was driving up I just convinced myself, that’s it I’m not doing it.
So got in the unit, sat down and was annoyed at myself for not doing anything so I thought I will do some intervals on the Ski Erg & Assault Bike
Nothing crazy, just enough to get me sweating and heart rate up. Set up timer for 26 intervals of 40 seconds work, 20 seconds rest alternating between machines.
After 26 minutes of sweating, the feeling of ‘yas that was a great workout’ kicks in and I’m so happy I done something, set me up for the day, burning around 300-350 calories rather than sitting around doing nothing. It has made my day a lot more productive!
Moral of this wee story is a Workout ALWAYS makes you feel better, sets you up for day ahead, doesn’t need to be anything crazy or complicated. Sweat on, breath a lot and set yourself up to win!

I was going to write this super reflective post, but I keep falling asleep 😂 so that will have to wait till tomorrow. Today was another victorious day at @concord_crossfit :-) I continue proving to myself that my body can do more than I ever expected. #whowouldhavethought that I’d be decent in #rowing ? Or that I’d do #olympiclifting ? Or that I’d even THINK about training my body to get pull-ups, kipping and muscle ups? Say whaaaaa?:-) Anyway - @crossfit has been a lifesaver to me, and I can’t imagine not being a part of the #crossfitcommunity now. Worked on my #jerks today at 115lbs, which is close to my PR but I’m slightly scared to do a big jump with my knee. #backsquats only to a box with a bar. #amrap was 🔥 with the 15cal row, 10 T2B (knee tucks for me- btw these are looking great!) and 10 #db#thrusters (2b w/ 35lb dumbbells). Completed 3 -RDS. Then did 1-on-1 accessory work with @barbellbabebri and my legs and ass are still on 🔥! 4 RDS 1min ea banded #glutebridge , #assaultbike Then 4 RDS of 12 reverse rows on GHD and 9 negative pull-ups.
