What I’ve learned though, is I HAVE to force myself to continue my daily routines. Some may think “no you should rest” but when I get in a funk like this, there’s nothing worse for me than giving in to these blah feelings.
So I went to my volunteer shift, then I went to the gym and got back & shoulders done.
Was it great? Nope, it really wasn’t. But the point is I still went and DID it.
Tomorrow’s another day, and this funk will leave eventually.
I know what’s best for my mental and physical health, and it’s exercise.

Some upper day exercises. On my first upper day, I start with bench press as my primary. Then I do weighted pull ups as a secondary, followed with Arnold presses. Push day is always my favorite because I absolutely love doing bench press. A variation of this you could try would be reverse grip bench which heavily targets the triceps. As part of push day, I also enjoy doing seated DB Arnold press. Sometimes it can be a pain, but the pump you get from it is 100% worth it!

That proud moment when you finally master the Bodypump 104 lunge and shoulder combo track- and so do your class! My lunchtime pumpers at Nuffield Wandsworth rose the challenge of the two combo tracks which they did for the first time today and totally smashed it! It was my first time teaching the lunge combo track and it felt great to see almost all my participants mastering the tricky Arnold Press lunge sequence! I started with rear delt cable cross over on a super light weight for 3 sets of 10

Next was lateral raises with Dumbbells, hitting the lateral fibres for 4 sets of 10

Then performed Arnold press with 8kgs in each hand, the first exercise shown here, rotate wrists 180 degrees to the top and then back on the way down for 4 sets of 8-10

Face pulls targeting rear delts was next as seen in the video, my favourite for rear delt contraction as I find it easier to control my form💃🏼 4 sets of 10

Upright row on the rope cable attachment to hit the lateral deltoid again for 4x10

For front delts I did front raises with a light weight for 3x16
