Check out my The Nine post for the full list.
Why did I put Echo and Jesse on my list of possible clones to have been part of The Nine? A big reason is because they are very close with Rex. Jesse would have helped Rex look into the inhibitor chips after the death Fives. Jesse, Rex, and Kix would have been the next Clones to remove theirs after Fives. Since we never got a story before, or after the release of the Star Wars Rebels episode The Lost Commanders about Jesse it is a solid bet he was in the original list of The Nine. Now why did I pick Echo? Many will argue that the four unfinished episodes, like season 7 are not cannon. After some quick research these episodes where released to the Star Wars website post Disney take over. With approval to post these rough animations they are indeed cannon. Spoiler, Echo is alive and is rescued by Rex. I think with Echo having no one else he would become closer to Rex than before and help Rex, Jesse, and Kix understand the inhibitor chips. There is speculation that Echo joined the Bad Batch post the his return to the clone army after an argument with Rex. If that is true then my idea/opinion on Echo being one of the Nine could be wrong, but I do not think Echo and Rex broke their friendship. The list, and these thoughts are just my opinion. More The Nine Explains will be released throughout today and tomorrow. Comment your thoughts below!
I've been going to this Toys R Us since February 2000. My two oldest boys have the same birthday two years apart and they would come here to spend their birthday money on some epic shopping trips. TRU carried toys no other stores did and their store displays were often much more elaborate than other stores. My boys are all grown now and haven't been to the store in at least six years. I haven't gone there for my own shopping as often since.
I didn't have a TRU near me when I was growing up in the late 70's and 80's so we bought our toys at department stores like Sears, K-Mart, LaBelle's, Fred Meyer and Mervyn's. For those of us who have fond memories of our own childhood, our children, and toys, this is an end of an era.
BTW, I took these pictures Saturday afternoon and you would have thought it was Black Friday with all the shoppers lined up to pay full price and the shelves getting decimated. Too little, too late. A lot of people have been lamenting the loss of childhood with the rise in electronics but the fact is TRU made some terrible business decisions years ago that crushed them with debt which is what's causing their closure.
