Old ethnic earrings from the Dong or Mien minority people, living in Guizhou, South #China . High quality silver, with a wonderful patina. The decoration on both earrings is not the same, so probably they are not a matching pair, although the size for both is the same.
End 19th or beginning 20th century. #antiqueearrings#antiquejewelry#shopwithjoelle

Who can resist an old mine cut diamond? Definitely not me, they are totally my kryptonite. But I managed to pry this buttercup beauty from my own fingers and it’s freshly listed!
Featuring a fantastic sparkly old mine cut diamond in a wonderfully romantic late Victorian yellow gold setting. 🥀
This brooch was probably destined to be 'scrapped', until I laid eyes on it! It is an early Australian brooch c1880, made in the Colonial period (1850-1900) and when the great Australian gold rush had begun! Many pieces were made during this period using Australian flora such as ferns, palm trees, banksia flowers, as well as Australian birds- sulphur-crested cockatoo and kookaburra, along with many other Australian fauna. This brooch was made by Wendt's Jewelers, (est 1954) a formerly prominent jeweller once situated in Adelaide, Mt Gambier & Broken Hill. Sadly this little treasure is bearing some age related wear & tear, so may stay with me for a little while longer... 😌 #personalcollection
That moment when you can no longer say you love diamonds the most because a 3.50ct Kashmir no-heat sapphire sashays over and gives you the feels.
DM for deets and dibs on this true collector’s gemmy gem.
