I've struggled with keeping thing in my body balanced for quit a while now. So, when I take antibiotics it throws me way off and it takes time and effort to get somewhat bake to at least close to balanced.
I had been taking Pearls. They did okay. I could tell the difference when I didn't take them.
With this recent flu thing I had I ended up on antibiotics twice. The doctor told me the Pearls didn't have enough cultures in it. So, while picking up my meds I asked the pharmacist about it. I've known that it's best to get the kind of acidophilus that has to be refrigerated but the only place I know to purchase it was at the health food store and cost a lot. I hadn't thought about how pharmacies have refrigerators. I was happy to learn that my pharmacy sold good acidophilus for an affordable price.
At first I got the small bottle but was able to get the bigger one due to my sister helping me out. My families finances are whack at this time. So I really appreciate her and my mom for helping me out with my health.
I have more to this probiotic story that I plan to share later.

Are you in a state of DYSBIOSIS ? 🤔
Do you know what is it?
Ask yourself these questions:
Do I have a digestive problems ?
Do I have known or unknown vitamin deficiencies ?
Do I have notable feelings of sadness ?
Do I have an impaired or faulty immune system ?
Do I struggle with skin conditions ?
Am I in constant discomfort?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, it's possible your body is in a state of DYSBIOSIS. The microbes living inside our bodies were designed to work together in a balanced manner. Unfortunately there are many factors that can contribute to this state of DYSBIOSIS: -antibiotic use
-use of other medications
Resulting in symptoms like:
•diarrhea, heartburn, constipation
•weightloss or weight gain
•food allergies, sensitivities, intolerances
•sugar cravings (including alcohol) •iron deficiency
•learning difficulty •mental fog
The BEST of the best #probiotic on the market!
ProBio5 features 5 potent, well-researched strains of probiotics, PLUS specific #enzymes and antioxidants that help break down hostile organisms that negatively impact your health.
A little bit of #yeast in our bodies is beneficial. But when you consume sugar, take #steroids /#hormones /#antibiotics , and eat #artificialsweeteners , the good bacteria in your gut can't survive and instead your gut can become overpopulated with yeast (Candida) and fungus! Yuck! Candida overgrowth is at the root of countless diseases (including #autoimmune disorders, #nutrientdeficiencies , #allergies , hormone imbalance, #acne , #chronicpain , #obesity ... even #asthma !). As it grows, it attaches itself to our intestinal lining, causing tiny perforations that then leak out toxins, allergens, and proteins into our bloodstream. Waste that was intended to be transported safely out of our body is now leaking into our bloodstream, and you feel it. You’re surviving the day instead of thriving with life, your joints ache, or your skin is crazy, the weight never comes all of the way off, your anxiety is high, or hormones are a wreck, just to name a few. And Candida overgrowth is NOT easy to kill, because that pesky fungus is protected by a stubborn shell of this stuff... CHITIN.
Most commercial probiotics flood the body with billions of good #bacteria , but their benefit is limited because they can't reach and destroy harmful fungus in the body (thanks to that protective layer of chitin.) But guess which probiotic has chitin-blasting enzymes? You got it!!! Only when you get rid of the bad AND re-populate the good will you be able to feel and NOTICE the difference from your probiotic! #PlexusProbio5 is where it's at!
Well... Just what I always wanted... I have strep throat. Blech.
On a more positive note, enjoy this sneak peek of Princess Alais Capet of France, as she makes her appearance in UCC's production of The Lion in Winter. The show runs from march 2nd, to March 11th, cut back from its original start date of Feb 23rd (today) due to unforseen circumstances. Tickets are on sale now at tickets.umpqua.edu
You know, I was originally upset that the show got pushed back, but maybe it was a blessing in disguise. This gives the cast some more time to work, as well as me to get better and not infect them. And don't worry - I'm on antibiotics.
When the Antibiotic warning label reads “May cause diarrhea...” 😔💩☠️ Is it really important to finish all of this medication? Maybe, I’ll just think about it for a little bit instead... #stillsick#antibiotics#round2 *yes, I know I need to finish all of the pills if I start them! #medicallife
👍🏼The “New” Weapon Against Drug-Resistant bacteria👍🏼 As the number of antibiotics known to fight these virulent killer dwindles, the amazing natural power of essential oils has captured researchers’ attention. A 2008 study by D. Gary Young, ND; Sue Chao; Craig Oberg, PhD; and Karen Nakaoka, PhD, published in the “Flavour and Fragrance Journal”, reported that 78 out of 91 essential oils tested inhibited MRSA. Lemongrass, Lemon Myrtle, Mountain Savory, Cinnamon, and Melissa essential oils has the highest rates of inhibition against MRSA. The oil blends R.C., Motivation, and Longevity has the strongest inhibition if oil blends tested. 🌿Cinnamon essential oil was tested and found to enhance the antimicrobial drug clindamycin against C. difficile. 🌿A British study tested geranium and lemongrass essential oil vapors against antibiotic-sensitive and -resistant bacteria, including MRSA, vancomycin-resistant enterococci (VRE), Acinetobacter baumanii, and Clostridium difficile. The combined oil vapor effected an 89% reduction of airborne bacteria.
