More work on the Saiga, but I still have a lot left to do. I'm basing this drawing on a pun my sister came up with, and I'm not sure I'm going to get the result I wanted when I started... we'll see!
Day 3: Antelope canyon, horse shoe bend. Most of the pictures I took today are on my actual camera. Antelope canyon was like a photographers dream. Anything you took a picture of looked amazing. I didn't realize so many famous pictures or computer wallpapers were taken of this canyon. After we visited the canyon we took a quick look of the Glen Canyon Dam and bridge. It's amazing how lake powell is a result of this man made structure. Finally horseshoe bend at sunset. I realized I didnt bring a lens wide enough to capture the whole bend and also... How I was too chicken to go up all the way the the edge of the canyon. Hopefully I can string some sort of ghetto panoramic shot once I get back to my computer
Next stop: Kayak tour of Lake Powel and Grand canyon
I love traveling! I admire the beauty of nature. I Respect the people who take good care of it. .
Honestly, I’ve been dreaming of being here. Finally, it came true.
Have you been to Antelope or would you like to see it too?
I took a little hike during lunch this afternoon. I hunted rabbits and when I was finished and driving home I spotted something white on the horizon. I used my binoculars and found an antelope grazing and then he spotted me. It’s the first time I’ve seen antelope at this spot in the last seven months, so that was fun. He didn’t like me watching and trotted off and scooter under a fence. I knew my road was going to catch up to him again, so I kept an eye out. When I found him again, he was running alongside the road, then passed me and crossed in front of me. I was going over 40 mph! That was fun. I’ve heard of them out running cars going 50mph. It was cool to see him laid out running—so still on his upper body.
What does this have to with a picture of a buffalo? Well, I couldn’t get a photo of the antelope...but I made this buffalo portrait on Antelope Island :) #hunt#hike#antelope#pronghorn#desert#buffalo#bison#idaho#owyhee#visitidaho#wildlife#raiseyourglass
