The Pepper Festival is proud to announce a new sponsor - American Born Whiskey hand crafted, blended and bottled in Nashville, Tennessee. We recently did a few taste tests and discovered a great mix that we'll be serving at the festival: Hard Peach-Lemonade! Made with American Born Peach Whiskey, this drink will be amazingly refreshing on a beautiful Saturday in late June. We can't wait! In fact, we really can't - join us on Friday, April 6 from 9-11pm at Club Raven in Sacramento to get a pre-taste of what we'll be featuring at The Pepper Festival on June 23. The American Born Whiskey girls will be there!
American Born also offers Apple Whiskey and Bourbon. All three are available at your local BevMo!, Raley's, Bel-Air, Target, Total Wine & More, Winco and Whole Foods. Find out more about American Born Whiskey at https://AmericanBornWhiskey.com
Just a simple photo yet it means so much. I discovered I had Irish heritage through my mother's side. Naturally, I was born in the States, and I may not always support the war we are fighting, but I salute troops past and present. #irishheritage#americanborn
“I heard you die twice, once when they bury you in the grave and the second time is the last time that somebody mentions your name.
So when I leave here on this earth, did I take more than I gave? Did I look out for the people or did I do it all for fame?”
Can go to Hollywood...or you can hit the Underground...where Knowledge is found ⚡️🍀⚡️ The question is, what matters? I’d rather communal sovereign rights to land and a river then all the banks in the world, because though I could buy everything with the banks, all I’d want to do is share it or give it all away. I’d build community. To me, the banks and money are a middleman that I don’t need in my life. They make me unhappy and I’m pursuing happiness as to my rights as an American, but more importantly, as a Human Being. Join me in this Walk out of the Matrix and back into freedom ✌️❤️🍀🐺🍀 #borublood#irishspirit#americanborn#indigenous_raised#re_educateyourself#canyouwalkTheWalk
I can’t explain how good it feels to earn back my Honor as a White Man in America. I can tell you that as Brian Boru’s descendant, the High King of Ireland, I’m not able to mess around when I speak of Honor and Land Rights. Community building and the Spirit of the People coming together as a force unstoppable in a momentum for change. If I gave up, I would be haunted for the rest of my life by it. There’s a movement happening in the world, a new Leadership is Forming. Come with us, because you’re it. You are what will lead the change, all people. It’s happynin’ 🤙😎🤙🌈#rainbowbridgethegaps
My DMV Family 🇸🇱
As I'm writing this I'm sitting in an airplane on my flight home and reflecting over the last 48 hours.
After I got through security and finally sat down the first thing I did was take my phone out and look through all the photos I've taken over the last 2 days. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
With each photo came a new face and a unique and beautiful story.
Of course there was Mai, who, upon getting my text yesterday dropped everything & took me to lunch to eat potato leaf, Krain-krain, and ginger beer. Who also organized a meetup, bought and prepared the food (which was AMAZING) called all her friends, took time off work, and taught me how to cook. Seriously. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Then there's Musu, Mr. Wurie, Marjorie, Joseph and the rest of my family at the Embassy who did everything they could to get my visas done quickly and efficiently so I could be on my way. From the moment I walked in the door I felt like I was home again. I used to think the hospitality was a West African thing but after spending time at another west African embassy I know that although all west Africans are hospitable, Sierra Leone is on another level.
Then there's the group of you that were kind enough to come hang out with me. I took note of every single detail. One of my sisters dressed up in beautiful Sierra Leonean attire and cooked a Cham -Cham that I ate till my belly hurt. Another held my phone while we went live and told me what questions you guys were asking. Others carried on meaningful conversations with me about salone and how we can contribute and help it progress. One woman brought additional food at the end. She told me sorry repeatedly that she was late but she has no idea how much it meant to me or that I know how much effort she put into coming and bringing her delicious food. There were two of you that traveled 45 minutes one-way to catch me as I was leaving, get a picture, and talk krio with me.
I'm overwhelmed and amazed by how freely you all love a person you barely even know. Most people say they won't put themselves out there until they know they can trust someone (CONTINUED BELOW)
This little one is going to grow up to be a strong, independent, loving, caring, beautiful women. She can be whatever she wants to be and will do it with class and sass. 😘🤣 #everydayiswomensday#shehasnolimits#americanborn @fancymaniac303 @milehighmaniac303
