Itamar Benitez, a queer PoC transplanted from Houston, is a visual artist who creates art that explores the intersections of the fetishization of queer people, PoC, artists, with neocolonialism and white guilt. In deconstructing and challenging these social structures, Benitez constructs timeless works with a unique perspective. He will be tabling at our celebration 2/23 :-)⠀

Hailing from Columbia, Juan Villegas moved to Texas in 2005 and studied Fine Arts at Sam Houston State. His Dali-esque style incorporates Surrealism and Figurativism to enliven viewers and sensitize them to the simple poetry of their daily lives. Juan and his commissioned piece will be featured at the issue 9 release celebration. ⠀⠀
