So many people tell me they never see me in ‘normal clothes’.... I know, I’m also shocked that activewear is not considered normal attire 🤷🏽‍♀️😳 So I thought I’d do a little throw back to earlier this week when I actually got dressed and went out..... and look how awkward I look when you take me out of shorts and singlets?! But at least you now know I do own some clothes!! Ps. I am currently in my PJ’s (my second favourite items of clothing) 🙌🏼

If this post could make you think twice about any fad diet or any diet that eliminates food groups or suggests you can’t have a certain food. I want you to get passed that stuff for good — unless you have a very specific medical reason to avoid. But for losing fat or building muscle? Start ignoring that stuff.

🇦🇺Swolyssa update, I'm in Australia!🇦🇺
Finally got to squat properly yesterday - the gym at the place I'm staying doesn't have a single barbell, squat rack, or deadlift platform, so I opted to go try out the university gym for the next few days. Here’s a video of my last set at 60kg, my form felt rusty but I was surprised I was still able to do a 3x5!

Decided I'm going to run a split of Pull A/Push A/Legs A/Pull B/Push B/Legs B/Rest for the next few months. I'll be using pullups and bent over BB rows as main movements for Pull days, bench and OHP for Push, Squats for a quad focus on Legs A and Deadlift for a glutes and hamstrings focus on Legs B. I will also hopefully be running twice or three times a week - keeping it short, anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes - because I want to preserve my cardiovascular health and ability to run a 5K. Exciting times! My goals are to increase my big 3 lifts, and build some more muscle so I incorporated some higher rep, lower weight, muscle isolating exercises in each day. We'll see how it goes! 🐨

Lunch from earlier today.... scoffed down between clients and it was delicious! Smoked salmon, avocado with a broccoli, kale, red cabbage and corn mix, small dob of mayo and pepper on corn thins 👌🏼 Perfect Wednesday lunch when I need quick, easy and tasty!

SQUATS - Some hate them, I'm actually a big fan. This was the 3rd set of 4 sets of my Lower Body Hypertrophy session at just under 70% of my 1rm. I was feeling a bit tight through my abductors but still got it done. Not perfect but overall pretty happy. As with deadlifts my #fittip is work on form and mobility first, check your ego at the door. 🍑

I really wish I could deliver all of this face to face as I'm not sure whether written word will deliver the passion and belief I have in this area..... Before I get into it, let me preface by saying......this program is NOT purely for the young......read this in the context of speaking to the young, the young at heart and the plain old straight super driven mofos (that wish we were younger, hmmm sometimes!)....that I know many of you are (or at very least on the way to becoming). For those that do not know, part of my previous existence was as a football coach (for 7 years).......a path I was often asked about from many friends and peers....was this of interest.....I always replied with an extremely honest and definite no....until it became a pathway "out" of a big hole I had found myself in.... For me coaching football was the equivalent of painting a wall one colour.......boring, uncreative, disempowering, and worse.....boy was I wrong.

That was just a pre-conceived belief.....I soon realised that you would be hard pressed to find a better avenue to tap into the self-development of a person (boy, girl, man, woman) that allowed for the approach, coaching and development of so many key issues in one's deep individual make up, outlook and performance in life than through coaching.....especially via the door knock of sport (or health & fitness)... You seem I'm a mischevious person and what may be on the surface taken to be coaching on  how to defend an aspect of the ground, or the attitude one needs to develop to open themselves up to any chance of success at the highest level, or the focus on building of full body function and strength to successfully complete a full chin up........is really building the fundamentals in how to develop resilience to overcome the setback of failing an 'important' maths exam, planting the seeds to getting off on the right foot in building an empowered and dignified career, to creating self-belief that one can achieve many things they initially de
