Yosemite Falls from up close 💦 it takes a lot of energy not to walk right under in the middle of summer! Thank goodness it was so powerful that the air was filled with a soft spray to cool us down #yosemitefalls#yosemitenationalpark
At Alpen Organics we believe less is more. We only use two simple ingredients in our tincture, MCT oil and CBD. MCT oil derived completely from 100% coconuts, not harvested from native palm forests that contribute to the destruction of some of the last remaining habitats for orangutans. 99% CBD derived from industrial hemp - not marijuana, grown in Colorado. Where will you take Alpen Organics, or where will it take you?
This shot means a lot to me for a good number of reasons. I've been rappelling off of the overhanging rock at glacier point for a while now. Each time I did it specifically for the picture. The photos are beautiful and striking, but when I look at them I can't help but think about how pointless and staged they were. Recently I've been really wanting to capture authentic photos of people doing things just for the sake of doing them (i.e. not doing them for the gram). I'd been trying to come up with a way to use my knowledge of rapping off glacier point to actually do something purposeful for a while, but I couldn't think of anything. Until I purchased silks at least. I'd been wanting to learn how to do silks ever since @em_outside introduced me to them last year. Learning how to use them has been a process and its the first time I've tried something new in a long time. It has felt really good to be a begginer at something again and to be able to experience the excitement of progression (something I haven't felt in climbing or photography recently). Being able to combine my knowledge of climbing, photography and silks to create an image of something purposeful on the overhanging rock was really amazing. The other thing that made the experience so special was the crew of people who came up with me. @adbrenture_time, @ffrriittzzz, @laineperine, @adam____smith, and @nickdeclimbs all hiked up four mile trail at night with me so we could wake up early and watch the sunrise. I had originally planned on doing it alone, so that was a really nice surprise and it made for a really good time!
