Vega Mama at The One Show @bbconeshow they were discussing veganism. Did anyone watch it today? I gave out flyers for the Vegan Valentine Night Fest. I did ask if they could mention the event but was not possible. They so missed out 😉. The joy of promoting 😂 . Can you see me? 🤣#vegan#veganism#veganlondon#veganuk#veganpromotion#veganpromoter
Film Review - FERDINAND 💚 ((SPOILER ALERT)) .
The little one and I have just been to see this beautiful, heart-wrenching film about a bull who simply doesn’t want to fight. Set in Spain, it begins by depicting life on a bull ranch where the only world these poor animals know is one of hate, rivalry, fear and violence. Yet Ferdinand, the title character, is different. Having a beautiful relationship with his father and a love for sweet-smelling flowers, this sets the tone for the rest of the film, and his journey into the light. This film is hard-hitting from the beginning, and as a vegan I was anxious initially, about how the film would depict life for these bulls. I anticipated that it would paint a rosy view of life for them, and of course as an animated ‘U’ rated film it slightly did, with a fairly ‘gentle’ depiction of this prison for bulls. But it got clever. And this early look at life for fighting bulls soon revealed the truth when, the morning after his ‘big moment’ in the ring, Ferdinand’s father didn’t return. Realising the dreadful meaning of it all Ferdinand escapes the ranch to seek out a better life. And wow does he find this at Nina’s farm (or sanctuary as it appears to be!) Life is happy and pure for a while. Later, a mix up at the flower festival leaves a now very large and very bullish-looking bull in jeopardy as he is captured and sent back to the ranch. The adventure climaxes with a brave and loving Ferdinand converting his childhood bull friends and leading to safety. But the desperate ranch owner is never far behind and Ferdinand nearly doesn’t make it. The film ends with Ferdinand ‘winning’ over the matador in the ring with peace and love. The audience demand that he is spared. And so, Ferdinand and his friends go back to Nina’s sanctuary where they live out the rest of their lives in peace. “Is this love? I love love” Are some of the last meaningful words from a neglected goat, before the credits roll. .
I seriously recommend this animated film (with caution for sensitive children - my girl found it VERY difficult to watch) for families wanting to introduce or reaffirm veganism. #moviereview#filmreview
Very happy to have made tons of memories with this cute pup friend! I'm surely specialized in getting along with doggies babes 🐶 it means.. If you have real feeling for someone, they also feel same way as you do ❤️ #animalloverforlife
