Ninja session with mates Great start my birthday. Not bad for a 32 year old, if I do say so myself and I just did 😂 I know I haven't been around these past weeks, I had to return some video tapes for a mate in need. It never stopped me training it just need my attention. Sometimes life gets hecktic but it doesn't mean you forget or give up on your dreams and goals. Keep focused, build strength, stay humble.

💪🏼Carbs provide the body with energy immediately. That’s their purpose by nature and depriving yourself of them will leave you tired and fatigued all day long. I suggest eating them earlier in the day when you need most of your energy in the form of some whole grains, which take all day long to burn through your system. These carbohydrates from whole grains release slowly into the bloodstream so you never suffer a “crash” like you do with caffeine or sugar. This means you’ll have energy all day long and won’t have to deal with the afternoon slump.

Certain carbs like oatmeal, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, bananas, and brown rice contains large amounts of trytophan, which relax the body and help put you to sleep. Oatmeal even helps your body produce melatonin, the hormone that regulates your sleep. Eating some complex carbs at night before bed can help you sleep more soundly through the night and fall asleep faster
💪🏼Your body also uses carbohydrates for optimal brain function. Foods such as vegetables, oats, quinoa, beans, legumes, nuts, seeds, and fruit all contain an array of carbs that aid in mental focus and a healthy mood. Without carbs you may become foggy-headed, feel light-headed, have a hard time concentrating, feel sad or depressed, or just not feel like yourself. You may also have a harder time retaining information. Don’t deprive your brain of carbs- it needs them!

Arrived in Hobart today ⛵️So there will be lack of food posts for a while! Here's a healthy banana split I made. 1. Cut a banana in half and sprinkle coconut sugar over it. 2. Cook in pan on medium heat for a few minutes. 3. Fill with nice cream of your choice. I used 2 frozen bananas, a tsp peanut butter, 1tsp coconut and 1 tbsp cocoa. Place in food processor and blend. Top of its berries, seeds and nuts.

Ao escolher o que eu vou comer sempre observo primeiro três coisas: como está meu Agni, ou seja, como está minha fome; como eu estou me sentindo, ou seja minha emoção; e como está o clima. Hoje, meu Agni estava bom, eu estava feliz mas preocupada em resolver muitas coisas e o dia estava muito quente. Optei por um lanche refrescante para “acalmar” meu Pitta. Bati manga com a polpa do coco verde e chia e coloquei cardamomo para ajudar na digestão. Comi com coco em lascas e 3 ameixas. Não existe melhor presente do que saber o que é bom pra você em cada momento. ❤️

The numbers are astronomical.
Childhood cancer, allergies, asthma, autism, eczema, ADHD, respiratory infections, & countless other ailments are through the roof. The statistics are shocking compared to 5, 10, 20 yrs ago.
These animals are being pumped w/ growth hormones, steroids, antibiotics; resulting in widespread antibiotic resistance, early onset chronic illness, rampant disease, & premature mortality.
Our children eat what they are given; they eat what they see their parents eating.
Why are we giving our children these disease ridden toxic foods? Serving up their friends on a plate, b/c the adults are still fighting their own conditioned EGO?! It’s time to wake up & stop eating animals; their suffering is our death & disease.
Innocent children & animals are being abused by the unconscious behavior of adults. If we are aware of what’s going on with meat & dairy, then why are we still feeding our kids meat & dairy? Saying ‘because they like it, or they won’t eat anything else, etc’ is NOT good enough.
Children are the most impressionable, willing to adapt & learn. Do we really want to CODDLE our child to an early grave because we checked out at ‘they like it?’ Let us look deeper into ourselves.
Meat and Dairy are wreaking havoc on this planet, taking the lives of 8 BILLION animals EVERY DAY, and the protein we have been fooled into thinking we need is KILLING humanity. There is an abundance of plant based resources, UP TO DATE scientific/medical data, & endless delicious vegan options. Cruelty is absolutely unnecessary in ‘civilized’ 2018.
Spare the children.
