I don’t post numbers because gym PR’s don’t count and I don’t care what’s on the bar anyway but, after ending what was my original top single of 275lbs, coach called. .
Coach: “How you feeling? You got more?”
Me: “I feel great! So what chu sayin?” (hood translation = So, you calling me out?)
Coach: “Let’s go! 300lbs! Send it to me!”
Me: ***Drops duffle bag, snatches off the hoodie*** “Load the bar!! Three hundid!!”

When your coach puts you on the path, walk the path. Stay on the path! Learn while you’re on the path! Apply what you’ve learned while on the path and all the gains will follow! Forgot to post these yesterday. #Squats and #Deadlift variations. 3 count down 1 count pause tempo squats for 4 sets of 4. Only used 345 lbs since I don’t have the endurance built up for these kinds of sets. Slowly seeing improvement in that though. Contrast deadlifts, so 2 paused and then 2 full reps, for 6 sets total. 385 lbs moved fast but yesterday’s workout was about volume and technique. Intensity is going to rise over the coming weeks. @thicccon did a good job peaking me for my last meet, so I’m trusting his system for this one!

Today @g_i_jane75 met her idol @j_nnamani at the British powerlifting championship and i slipped another rung down the ladder of favourite people putting me a crisp 23rd place😍. Anyway, Joy is one of the best female lifters in the world and basically owns the 52/57kg category.
Today she did not dissapoint. Great to watch the true raw lifter perform👏👏👏 joy weighs 52kg and squats 150kg and deadlifts circa 200kg😮😮 And id be amiss not to mention the @freedomstrength banner making an appearance.
Das war also meine vorerst letzte Einheit in meiner geliebten sportwissenschaftlichen Fakultät. Nach anderthalb Wochen Dielen schleifen in unserer neuen Wohnung und kein Training wollte ich gern noch einmal ein bisschen schwerer machen.
