Yogis (especially yoga teachers) have mixed feelings about social media. For my business modules in my Yoga Teacher Trainings, we guide and encourage yogis to post daily on IG. We do this because, in my personal opinion, social media is an incredible tool for creating and engaging your community ... whether it be local or global. However, we always have a few people that have negative feelings about this approach and I completely understand that because there are negative sides to social media too. But yesterday for me was a prime example of the power of an online community... I was having a down day and posted about it just to let it out. The response I got on my post and story both in the comments and direct messages totally lifted me up almost immediately and couldn’t be more grateful for the support. Sometimes we forget that those likes and comments are real people and regardless of whether it’s 2 likes or 200, responding and engaging with those supporters is just as fulfilling and important as people who come to your classes. #focusonthepositive#seegoodineverything ❤️❤️❤️❤️
