Today was a pretty great day. It was a good reminder that sometimes you need to go outside of your comfort zone, try new things and take chances. I'll spare you all of the details but it mostly relates to this desk. It was sold and in its new home within a few hours. Onward to the next piece! I hope you all had a restful Sunday with your loved ones.
Warning if you swipe right. Make sure you’re wearing a hazmat suit.
Also warning if you’re master Roshi because you might get a severe nosebleed 😏
(I never understood why sexual jokes/references resulted in nosebleeds for Japanese characters)
I’m sharing a few of my favorite tips and trick for setting up a booth for a vintage market or show. Go check out my blog post and see what’s up tonight. (Link in profile)
I’m so excited for spring and summer shows. I can’t wait. If you’ve got any amazing tips or tricks share them below and we’ll spread the love. 💛 #3littledaisies
This kitchen island represents the passion of Piece of Work: creativity and repurposing meaningful items. This cabinet found its way into a small barn in Bowman, SC after serving in the surgical department at the older Orangeburg Regional Hospital. Along with the vision of the owner, we created this unique kitchen island by constructing a base for height, covering the sides and rear with shiplap, finishing off with a reclaimed heart pine top, all while preserving the beautiful, rustic finish. It features plenty of storage along with bar top seating suitable for 4-5 people.
Your junk is my treasure... well, if you have some perfectly old painted porch posts, that is!
The hunt continues for some salvaged pieces for our next project.
A fun afternoon of scouring basements and and abandoned greenhouses with Matt and @thelesliestyle. No luck finding what we needed but the sun was shining and the company was good! Who knows where this search will take us next!
The day has come when my old, trusty guitar case needs replacing. It's served me for 11 years, traveled across continents, and held thousands of busking coins. So long old box.
Time to start again, and begin with some (very) misc art on the new case I picked up from @oxfamgb
