Es ist für mich eine sehr große Freude, zu merken dass ich von Tag zu Tag an meinem essen etwas verändere. Und mich so langsam auch mehr traue. Das macht mich sehr stolz 🌼
ich starte heute mit Vanille Joghurt- Quark verdünnt mit Milch; ein Apfel 🍎; eine Birne 🍐; eine Banane 🍌; Heidelbeeren 🍇; und darauf Walnüsse 🤩 dazu gibt’s einen Minze-Honig Tee 🍵
Woke up this morning after a difficult week and decided today would be different ☀️ I headed out to the markets with my dads girlfriend and had the most amazing time. We drank coffee, bought organic produce and talked and talked and talked.
I feel very loved and blessed for the people in my life. It doesn’t stop me from having hard days, but it does help me see the good in the difficult 🌸

According to fitness magazines and some “theories” about food timing, I am now pasta the “carb-curfew” to eat this bowl of pasta... and therefore, will now put on weight because of it!
In a world where we are fed so many different bits of bullshit information about how and what we should eat, this not eating carbs after a certain time of day thing is just another myth we really don’t need in our lives.
Yes, not eating carbs at night may be a method to lose weight. But only by potentially eating LESS calories in general across your whole day.
Because carbs don’t have a perception of time.
So stop being mean to carbs, don’t fear them, they haven’t done anything to you!
Eat them, enjoy them and be smart about it!
Because I know if someone was to tell me I couldn’t eat potatoes, bread or pasta for dinner, I’d probably eat them instead
I’ve been in hospital for a while for personal reasons (don’t worry I’m feeling a lot better!), and I’ve been feeling a lack of freedom in here. Asking when I can leave, eating what I’m given and being treated like a patient in general. But, my amazing family and boyfriend have come to take me out everyday and let me be free.
It is these times where I’m so grateful for what I have. A connected and loving family, an incredible and supportive boyfriend and two best friends that have been constantly checking on me.
There is no shame in getting help and I urge all of you if you’re struggling, to reach out to someone you trust, go to headspace (a free clinic that deals will all sorts of issues), or tell your parents and ask them to help you speak to a counsellor/psychologist or psychiatrist. Let’s break the stigma against mental illness. Spread kindness, you never know how far a smile or chat with someone whose feeling down can go.
I’ve been working on seeing the positives instead of the chaos around me and it’s been really lifting my mood. So I encourage you all, if you’d like to try finding at least three things that were good in your day or three things you are grateful for. Writing this down can help heaps because you can look back and see that everyday had at least something good in it. Good luck and stay strong my loves ♥️✨ #mentalhealth#recovery#tw
Update on Charm! Charm came in late last year at 8 weeks old with a badly broken femur bone! She has been recovering from her broken femur bone. She has another 3 weeks of recovery before she will hopefully get the all clear and go up for adoption! Charm is an amazing natured girl and despite her broken leg she has been very well socialised and has great manners with other dogs. I got to tick off another walk in Melanie Ball’s ‘Top Walks Victoria’ book with some mighty fine company today. A short 3km clip around the area (hardly a hike). Although, a good way to recover after yesterday’s epic adventure!
