Heavy, banded doubles, at 172.5 kg and 4's at 152.5 kg 😅 Hopefully the doubles were the heaviest, in terms of effort, before D-day. Pretty pleased since I felt a bit slow in the titties.

Smoth session this morning at @whgym Usually call these 4ct benches but need to start calling them G-benches after the little bench giant @guifitnesscoach 😁 Tripples at 155 kg. Also some medium grip tng at 150 kg and mobility squats, at 140 kg, without shoes 👌

So, a bit "lighter" bench session this Monday and all of a sudden the weights feel heavy 😅 Frikkin head. Tripples at 170 kg and 4's at 150 kg. Well, no to bad at the end and still hoping for good benches later this week!

Once again coming back to last weeks talk with @rayalilani and the amount of lifters we got back home in Sweden 🇸🇪 Powerlifting has been part of the Swedish sports community for years. We got our nationals broadcasted on national TV the last few years (selected classes). This is a huge step for lifting and its widen the audience alot. A positive impact of that, I believe, is that we have a whole bunch of good junior lifters coming up and making a mark also on international level.
For long we had one of the absolute best equipped bench press teams, with almost all lifters having connections to legendary @sundsvallsatletklubb At one point I think they single handed could have taken a team medal on worlds... Now our female lifters are crushing it with of course @ivweissenberg in the frontline! But there are many many more... Today's focus on three lifters; junior, master and female senior 💪 All three representing the Swedish style of "modern" Powerlifting in a very nice way; technical sufficient, serious approach to the sport and always being humble towards other lifters.
You can't really argue with Alex's results. Worlds best 74 kg junior both equipped and raw/classic. His numbers are incredible his technique even better. On top of that one of the best coaches we have training numerous of strong lifters. If you don't know about Alex make sure to check him out 👍
One of my all time favorite deadlifters and just a frikkin nice guy. Being a M1 lifter he still give ALL 105 kg guys a run for the money when the bar is on the floor. Also here we see a technical approach and no compromise when it comes to form.
A lot of you guys maybe think that Isabella is just cruised through the -72 kg cat on home turf. Hmm, just think again. Annika has been on her tail the whole time and when Isabella now is going to cut down to -63 kg Annika is gonna the Swede to beat for years to come. A hell of a bencher, but not only that. I think we will see +500 kg really soon. Trained by @oscaarbjork also mean she got good support and guidance.
