The Museum of Indigenous art feels like home. I got goosebumps just by looking at the most amazingly hand woven textiles of our country. The craftsmanship, creativity and ingenuity of our brothers and sisters from the indigenous tribes is truly impeccable.
No idea what to do on this cold Sunday? Why not head to mumok and participate in our #pushxpull contest!
For the exhibition “Art into Life!” artists Eva Chytilek and Jakob Neulinger have created a re-interpretation of Kaprow’s 1963 environment “Push and Pull. A Furniture Comedy for Hans Hofmann.” And now you’re invited to re-interpret the re-interpretation. Feel free to grab a selfie stick, put on a coat and hat and take as many selfies as you want! If you upload your photo using the Hashtag #pushxpull , you might just win an exhibition catalogue or even an annual ticket for mumok!

One of the paintings that truly stopped me in my tracks is this incredibly massive painting of a triathlon by Ferdie Montemayor. I am in awe with the texture, brush strokes and starkness of black against the white paint.
Wish I could take it home lol
