Yes, stress can sometimes turn out to be productive. Maybe not for everyone, but for some people working under pressure until that deadline hits could make them do better.⠀

This Grammy Award-winning artist whose throwback, soulful sound has made her an international success with hits like "Rolling in the Deep," "Someone Like You" and "Hello", used to get chronic stage fright.⠀

One of the best feelings in the world is giving.
The positive energy is contagious. With just one act of kindness, you can inspire others to go out and plant seeds of happiness through giving, too.
Your greatest gift is the ability to share your blessings; it’s what makes life meaningful.
I have to say that I never thought I’d be here. I never thought I’d make it to this place. When I was down and seemingly out and at the “bottom” I never thought I’d feel on top. I don’t know that I’d ever felt on top before, but this was pretty close. Standing in front of all of these people in the middle of a state hit so incredibly hard by addiction we got to spit some useful #truth that MUST be put forward in my field:
1. People don’t have to be ready to quit to get help!
2. Making drugs illegal is part of the reason we’re dealing with overdoses and tainted drugs!
3. AA is NOT the only way to get help and if you want something else you should be allowed to choose it. 🙌🏽
With IGNTD recovery we’re busting the doors open to ANYONE who wants help for any addiction. The only thing they need to commit to is participating and being open. 🙏
When I was doing my addiction research at UCLA years ago I found four main barriers to treatment - Shame, cost, logistics and abstinence. It’s time we drop them ALL! It’s time we help millions of people and stop the tide of overdoses and lives destroyed!
