As I continue to reminisce and relish yesterday, I pull myself to reality long enough to share the sheer loveliness and gift of it.
Traversing through years, tears and fears, many souls cross our path. Some walk along and many veer and grow apart. Each leaving a valuable imprint. Little does one expect something live, real and meaningful sprouting out of a virtual journey such as this one on IG-Especially me, someone who joined IG to find and appreciate the richness of indian handloom and craft, nothing more.
But that’s just what the universe had in mind as I discovered a kindred soul in @meena.lochani . This dear one reached out to make a meet happen , traveling from Cleveland to Albany to NJ. And what an evening it was - from the moment we walked in, it was like we were long lost buddies meeting after decade - picking up where we supposedly left off 😂😂. Of course over some delicious cardamom chai and pakoras. What’s a saree sister meet without a Saree store stop? Spending an hour or two at NJ Nalli’s before we bid aloha. I say aloha and not adieu, as its a goodbye and a hello❤️❤️ Until we meet again @Meenu💕💕. You are as beautiful , kind and real as I imagined and much much more!
Popham Beach looking wavy 🌀🌊
My first time visiting this part of maine, and I gotta say Popham Beach is now one of my favorite spots. If you haven't been there definitely check it out sometime. I made the rookie mistake of going on the island at low tide and had to walk back through knee deep water. Worth it 👌
