Rainbow and childhood are alike, both are beautiful but don't last for long. We can achieve everything if we follow our rainbow with dedication, there must be a pot full of gold at the end of all rainbow. For me it's my kids and I am sure if I give good advice to my kids to make their character, together we can achieve everything when they will grow up
As breathtaking as this view is right here, it’s almost the polar opposite of when you’re actually there. This place has been one of those insta-hotspots and I have been dreaming of meeting the oh-so-famous Kawasan Falls for years. Due to its booming tourism, people have took advantage of the place, destroying its natural beauty by building structures. Structures that are so in your face where locals impose unreasonable fees for simple necessities. They have turned this into a freaking resort (not the good relaxing kind). I get that money is important and people need to make a living, but at the what expense? ☹️ P.S. the falls were a bunch of beauties, it’s the buildings and the “capitalists” I didn’t appreciate. STOP TAKING ADVANTAGE OF TOURISTS!!!
Another 10,000 reasons to see Japan are each of these Torii gates along the path of Fushimi Inari Taisha in Kyoto. The earliest of these 10,000 Torii gates dates back to 711 A.D., and its volume started to increase during the Edo period (1603 - 1868) when people started to donate a Torii to have their wish granted or thank the spirits for the granted wish.
It's amazing how many of these century old Torii gates are still in good condition. Japan has done an impeccable job in maintaining its historical and cultural sites. Definitely a must visit for travelers!
Spent the past 72 hours exploring Big Bend with no screen time involved 🤓
Hiked 13 miles to find the highest point in one of my new favorite parks.. it was so refreshing for the mind and soul! I definitely recommend putting the phone down and getting in tune with nature for a few days!! 💃🏽⛰👌
A few pictures from our sunset tour exploring the Mayan ruins at Tikal. Let me tell you - the bugs come out at night! 🕷🐜 In complete honesty - I was nervous for this tour. The road leaving the park is fairly isolated at night and armed hijackings are not totally uncommon.
But for all the reading I did, and for all the stress and anxiety I felt - nothing happened. And the thing is, really - scary stuff can happen anywhere. Did you know, the only place in the world I've had violent crime committed against me is in Calgary, AB?? .
And so - be prepared. Know what you would hope to do should a sketchy situation arise. But don't - DON'T - skip out on any amazing experiences because of what you've 'read' in the paper. Swipe right to check it out 😍 #foundedinbeauty
“sun, sand, sea”
I’ve whiled away my days on the Yasawa Islands embracing island life. With an early breakfast of tropical fruit, a morning ocean swim, leisurely lunch and a much needed afternoon nap in a hammock by the sea
The late afternoons on each island are dedicated to beach volleyball. A game taken lightly by holiday makers but very VERY seriously by the Fijians (with several injuries sustained). And you kind of get the message when you’re asked to “just keep out the way” that you’re better off back in your hammock 🌴
