This last week was full of expectations - some realized, some put on hold, some not at all what was planned. I’ve had to spend a lot of time in gratitude and it’s given me clarity on many things. Today it was just appreciating progress, hard work, and consistency as my #45daytransformationchallenge came to an end. In 6 weeks I have begun the slow but steady journey back to body health but this part of the journey was about transforming my mindset more than anything else. By appreciating the journey and the self discovery, I’ve had success one day, one week at a time. It feels really good to be on the right path.
I just submitted my final results for the @ilovekickboxing 45 Day Transformation Contest and I wanted to share them with you since this challenge has so profoundly affected me. I have faced a ton of personal issues during the last 45 Days and I can honestly say that being part of this challenge helped me stay anchored, along with my Self Discovery practice. This year has been a completely new chapter for me, from relocating from New York to Tennessee, getting rid of my Jeep that’s been with me for almost 300,000 miles, and the loss of some of my dearest friends, 2018 has been one of the most challenging years that I can remember, but it has also been the most abundantly blessed in terms of discovering my strength, both inside and out. Losing two dear friends to heart related issues in 2017 reminded me the invaluable importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and letting go of people and experiences that no are no longer aligned with who I am today. I stand before you this evening with a strength I never knew I had and the awareness that life is limitless. Thank you for being on this journey with me. I encourage you to get committed to something this year that will remind you to put yourself first and that will give you something to keep you present during the storms of your life. Thankful for the last 45 days and looking forward to all that’s to come. 🙏🏼✨💪🏼💎👁💜

I have the BEST job ever, manager/kickboxing instructor @ilkbfriendswoodtx but like any other job, sometimes I get so busy and I can’t get to my food especially if there is 4 classes back to back!
