Ya may not know that Improv It Up is a Social Enterprise. So what does that mean? It means we are a business with 2 parts. 1. The heart part: Our School Programs 2. Our Corporate-Business Programs. In Our school programs we work with middle and high school students using Social-Emotional Learning through Improv, Theatre and Writing. We hear, see , and learn the real struggles students endure. From pressures of social media, school, home life, it can feel intense and overwhelming. One of the most powerful lessons I have learned through our students is on honesty. When I can show up and be 100% authentic and real with where I am at letting them see that teachers are not perfect, telling them we learn from them, and we don't always know what to say, it can model for them to return that same honesty and release pressure of feeling like the need to be perfect. Its not an easy road at all, but we know the skills they build in the end are everlasting. .
#tuesday#greatful

At the end of the day I know who has my best interest at heart. Thank you, to my friends & family, who pray, believe & encourage me into my future ventures. I remember in 2014, when I started my own business, as quickly as it started, my business mentor was quick to shut it down. It was a memorable 4 months. What I learnt from this was, in times of success not all will want to see you succeed. For me, the drama & the frustration that quickly unfolded was enough for me to walk away. I was 20, I was naive & quite vulnerable. In those 3 years, I’ve learnt & grown. I’m incredibly thankful in the waiting period (uni, work, community work & volunteering), God has surrounded me with beautiful business people who are ready to mentor me, confident that I will one day mentor another up & coming business person. I’m excited for what the future holds & the people I get to help along the way with the business I hope to plant within my community. Moral of the story: ‘never give up, God is faithful, fuel the fire & watch the fruits unfold.’ #blessed#family#myloves#business#businesswoman#nevergiveup#entrepreneur#work#hustle#encourage#motivation#rose#baby#girl#tattoo#ink#inked#flowers#youth#success#justdoit#momlife#tbt#throwback#morning#vegan#plantbased#daddysgirl#wanderlust#travel
“The only thing I fear, is fear itself.”
A term I’ve heard my whole life and quite honestly, never really understood. It sounded kind of stupid to me you know? Like wtf does that even mean? Some corny guy made that up...right?
But the older I get the more these cliches have meaning to me. I mean they are cliches for a reason, because they are tried and true. It wasn’t until today that it clicked to me exactly what that saying meant. How much it has been the back bone of my life the last few years. How tackling my fears has brought me so much growth it’s almost hard to comprehend how people don’t.
And so as i turn 26 on this day I remind myself again to never fear the unknown. Never fear the things that challenge you. Never to fear what you haven’t accomplished yet. What you may see as the ceiling you can’t reach today can be the floor you walk on tomorrow. Each ceiling can become the new ground in which you can build from.
So go out there and try. Push your boundaries. Grow your mind. Expand your abilities. And just take that shot in the dark. Surprise yourself on how great you can truly be. And fear only the idea of being too fearful to simply try at all. I promise you that once you start to just try, you’ll realize how much you really have to offer.

Five most common repair items from home inspections
1. Water Heater Strapping: Tanks 75 gallons or more require three restraining straps.

3. Fireplace Damper Clamp: Inexpensive clamps required to prevent the damper from closing completely.
