What is God’s love? Some would say protection, forgiveness, patience, just, unfailing, and faithful. These are all the ways we see the glory of God. Look to Hebrews 10:19-25. The 3 things you should highlight are let us draw near, let us hold fast, and let us consider. Verse 23 shows us that Jesus=Love. Faith comes from God. Faith & Love are always together. You cannot have one without the other. God’s love is him doing whatever needs to be done at any cost for us to be fully satisfied in Him. Too often we settle to live without his love, and why? Because we are far too easily pleased with mediocre things. So ask yourself, why do I want to be loved by God and what do I want? Because desires lead to affection which leads to our hearts which leads to out actions. #walkbyfaith#pursuehimfirst#god#christain#christainlife#bibledaily#bibleverse#hebrews1024#heisgreaterthani#liftupyoureyes#love
Rebuilding. Rebirth. Reimagine. That's the mode I'm in. I don't think it's any coincidence that Easter is next weekend. A time to remember that Jesus was resurrected and rose from the dead, for your sins and mine. There is no greater love; no greater gift than His grace. Even if you aren't religious or believe He's your savior, he still loves you. That's how deep His love flows and how amazing He is.
I can't imagine my life without God as my rock. When life becomes quicksand, He is the unsinkable foundation. Thank you God, for giving me exactly what I need at every moment. Every mosquito bite, every hiccup, every job change, every wrinkle, carefully designed by You. I am forever grateful and trying to be a better listener every day...

Hello loved ones, this is Maggie. Did you know that Jerusalem Donkey’s actually have a cross on their back? Today is Palm Sunday. Today, all those years ago, King Jesus rode a humble Donkey into Jerusalem (Matthew 21:1–9), The people placed palm branches in his path, before his arrest on Holy Thursday and his crucifixion on Good Friday. It thus marks the beginning of this Holy Week.
We should never have a day when we are not remembering His gift to us.....but today, I have visions of a humble man on a donkey that offered His life and became my saviour and my best friend.
Genesis Forty Two⚫
They said to one another, “Surely we are being punished because of our brother. We saw how distressed he was when he pleaded with us for his life, but we would not listen; that’s why this distress has come on us.”Genesis 42:21⚫
Because of the famine, Joseph's brothers go to Egypt and bow down before Joseph (who they don't recognise) in fulfilment of Joseph's dreams. They assume that this is all happening as punishment from God for their treatment of Joseph. They are half correct. This IS happening as a result of them selling Joseph into slavery (otherwise he wouldn't be here) but it is not punishment from God, but God turning their sin into a blessing. They will be saved because of this. They receive grace in exchange for sin.⚫ God takes my sin and produces blessing. I receive grace in exchange for my sin. What I am experiencing now may be a consequence of my sin but that does not mean it is bad or a punishment. God only gives good gifts, and good consequences.⚫ 📷: Daniel H Tong via unsplash
Pure happiness. Food really has been a way to my heart. The science behind each spice, and the timing of completion of sauces and ferments and everything in between gets me every time. But it made me question how many of you really CONSCIOUSLY eat. How many times have you been so excited to eat that when the food comes, you completely stuff your face, just out of sheer happiness that your belly is being filled? I’m very guilty of that but for the past year I’ve really seen what praying before you eat, and consciously chewing a certain amount of times before swallowing has done for my body, inside and out. It all seems so simple, chew your food and swallow... but have you really paid attention? I would have painful bellyaches after a large meal all stemming from not breathing enough between bites but also how much chewing I do. Obviously not chewing enough makes your inside organs work twice as hard to break down these large amounts which conflicted with movement, fatigue, and mood. I am far from being the best example and many times I have caught myself not either being grateful or conscience, which for me now goes hand in hand. Food for thought... or maybe thoughtful food?
