Hey! It’s Brittany, the CEO of Selah Oils and here’s some little known facts about me 😆 I struggle with science and yet I own an EO company. 🤷🏼♀️ I NEVER wanted to be a “blogger” but God had His own plans. I am learning to never say never to Him...I qualify as a modern day “crunchy mama” but every time I hear that I think of a mama with a 4 day old sunburn - you know, when the skin starts to peel and flake and gets a little bit crunchy? (Who even made up that term?) I know like 11 words in Spanish which basically makes me fluent. I am learning sign language next along with my kids in our homeschool. I struggle to come up with adult conversation topics or grown up words sometimes due to the fact that I spend most of my time with people under 3 feet tall. I am usually highly self motivated except after 7pm, at which point our chickens and I like to be in bed, separate beds of course. I am still afraid of the dark and often search for my cell phone while talking on it. I detest raisins and rarely actually leave Barnes & Noble without purchasing a new book. Come check out my personal page @brittany__pollock and say hello!💛 #fridayintroductions
I missed #fridayintroductions , but here’s my #saturdayselfie ! So, some things you may not know about me!
1. I was a ballerina for 11 years. However, you would never know it because of how clumsy I am. 😂
2. Target and Kohl’s clearance are my jam. Well, let’s be honest. Target and Kohl’s are my jam. Period. 🎯
3. I love tacos. 🌮 I say that probably because I’m standing in line for Chipotle right now. 🙌🏻 4. Josh and I are old souls at heart. You can frequently find us listening to Frank Sinatra or big band music. In fact, we had big band and Sinatra playing at our wedding. 😍
5. I am having a super hard time coming up with these facts. It’s like the 2 truths and a lie game. I can immediately come up with something far fetched, but I struggle to find interesting things to say about myself. 😂
Missed #FridayIntroductions 😁, so we're just going to do #SaturdayIntroductions 😅⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I’ve thought about how to form these words for a few weeks now, & then yesterday I heard a powerful sentence that just empowered me & I feel the need to share! “Normal natural emotions are now seen as good or bad. But when we push aside normal emotions to embrace false positivity we lose our capacity to develop skills to deal with the world AS IT IS not as we WISH it to be” I hate how when we go through/are going through trials and decide to open up on social media that so many of us feel the need to say “I know other people have it harder than I do” or “I feel bad saying this because I know so many of you are struggling worse than I am”.... to try and make it so we don’t offend people by sharing our hard experiences. To try and lessen our emotions & heartache so we can be “socially acceptable”.Like- if you are vulnerable enough to open up about something that’s hard for YOU, that takes so much strength& we shouldn’t have to feel like our trials are any less hard than someone else’s! I truly feel like trials are NOT comparable! AT ALL! Because who are we to judge who really has it “harder” because there’s no way we could ever 1000% understand and know EXACTLY what someone else is going through. We just can’t. So don’t discount yourself when you are going through something hard. Don’t tell yourself you “shouldn’t” feel this way. Don’t feel bad about what you are FEELING! So many times we are taught to just hide our emotions and not air our “dirty laundry” and to “just be positive” and strive for happiness. So then when we are going through something less than “happy” we feel like we are doing something wrong. Or compare ourselves to others and tell ourselves how we SHOULD be rather than how we ARE in that moment. And I feel like that’s something so many of us could benefit from working on-accepting that it’s okay to not be perfectly done & that we are all just doing our best and that’s what matters ❤️❤️❤️
Got my hair done today for the first time since last July! 🙈 and it’s been a looooong time since I’ve shown my face around here, so thought I’d say hello! 🤗 I’m Nicole & this cutie poking out her belly for you is Anabelle. My fine hubby is behind the lens. He’s a scientist who is headed to a conference in Australia tomorrow where he’ll be speaking to a room full of professors one day! He’s still in school getting his PhD, so proud of him! We live a simple little life in Athens, Georgia & enjoy eating pizza every Friday and watching clean comedy on our iPhones before we go to bed (Dry Bar Comedy, look it up, so good!)... I’m a #mompreneur , staying home with my girl during the week & running my wedding photography business with Sesame Street in the background 😆 and on the weekends I get the pleasure of venturing out to photograph beautiful southern weddings! That is us! Thanks for following along on our journey 💞 #mompreneurlife
#fridayintroductions - one day late, not even on purpose... but oh so appropriate if you know me at all.
I’m an ‘87 baby, second of three children to two incredibly talented photographers who met while my Mum was taking a Photography class my Dad happened to be teaching.
Photography is in my blood and guts and I adore it. So is black coffee, chocolate with raspberries and soulful acoustic.
I spent my teen years working at my local video store, renting and watching my way through every genre shelf and assisting with the transition from VHS to DVD. I spent afternoons laying on my bed with my eyes closed, listening to my Dad’s record collection one by one, experiencing the magic of it all for the very first time.
My first concert was at fourteen. My Dad and I saw The Rolling Stones and I immediately fell in love with Keith.
I’ve had my photograph taken so many times by both my parents that I learned early on to relax and let go of how you think you should look, to simply exist and allow an authentic moment to take place. There’s beauty in the imperfect, there’s soul and sweetness to a quirky and ingenuous portrait.
With love xS
Soooo I’m a day late (story of my life these days) but I’m going to do a quick little intro for #fridayintroductions . I’m doing this because I have some new friends on here that I’d love to get to know better, AND because I’m headed to the @wildandfree.co conference next weekend and I love meeting other homeschooling moms. ❤️ So, hi! I’m Kelsey! I’m a 30 year old mama of three who lives in Tacoma, WA. I’m a “retired” hairstylist of 10 years and now I now stay home with my kiddos and we have been doing homeschooling for a little over a year. I love Jesus with my whole heart, and I have been married to @ianthebeard for almost 9 years! Essential oils are my jam (i have an oils account where I chat about my love for them over at @poppyandroseessentials). I love all things hair and makeup, I eat a lot of donuts, and I know the songs to almost every musical. I also am a huge bookworm and music lover. Im a little bit awkward and a whole lot sarcastic. I love the IG community and recently have felt like I’d love to be more active on here. I want to be able to connect more with other women, and to encourage and love on them! Anyways, that’s a bit about me. If you’re going to be at the conference next weekend, leave a comment and say hi! I’m going with one of my best friends and sister in law @acmmmom.
Hi, I’m Katie. Wife to Matt. Girl mom to Harlin, Hinley and Hazel. California girl born and raised. Runs on caffeine and would starve if Matt didn’t cook 99% of my meals. Loves my people. Loves my job. Loves bean and cheese burritos. Obsessed with bows for moms. Almost every I get sidetracked and forget to post my planned posts, #momlife#amiright so here we are, turning what should have been my #fridayintroductions into a #sayhisaturday because apparently that’s a thing now. 📷 @katielfitzgerald
Saturday morning bliss. 😍 Checky lie-in, this sweet love bug as a cuddle buddy, a strong cup of coffee, comfy jammies and catching up on my favorite tv show (any other @thefosterstv fans out there?! 🙋🏻♀️). Next stop, beach walk with the puppers. 🌴 This weekend feels MUCH needed and I couldn’t be more grateful for a day of rest and revive! xx
Hiii!! I realized I haven't done an introduction in ages and there's a ton of new people here. So we're going to make up a #fridayintroductions on Saturday. 1. I'm Kierra. My studio is in terre haute, indiana. I'm 21 and have a bachelor's in Communication with a concentration in journalism. (That's the basic boring stuff). 2. I've been shooting for 5 years. 3 years ago i found boudoir and fell in love. There was huge gap of marginalized bodies missing from media and social media. I wanted to change the stigma of the "perfect body". I'm very passionate that all bodies are worthy and self love is so fucking important. 3. I hate cold meat. Can't do it, won't touch it. Deli sandwiches? No way. 4. I'm still completely blown away that I have my own studio. I actually love going to work on Mondays. 5. I have the eating habits of a 5 y/o. 6. I'm really laid back. Which also means that I'm horribly unorganized and that's something i struggle with. 7. Surprisingly enough, I love teaching. I seriously enjoy showing other Boudoir photographers how to grow their business and it and help increase their clientele I just love the connection and the bond we form it's really important to me to make friends in my industry. That's all I can think of right now thanks for reading this if you made it this far! Pc: @sarahbethphotoindy
Either I’m a day late for #FridayIntroductions OR, I’m 6 days early. Up to you.
Here are some fun facts about me:
I love vegetable thin crust pizza from Papa Johns. In fact I can, and have, eaten an entire large by myself in one sitting. So..
My other talents include sending perfect memes and gifs for any scenario. Is that cool? 👩🏼💻
Also, does anyone else thoroughly enjoy watching and re-watching The Office? As a matter of fact I am presently watching the episode where Nellie takes over as manager and it is utter hilarity. 🐻
Drop your favorite Office quote below to show solidarity ✊🏽
Transitions. Lately, I’ve been hearing that word a lot! It just so happens that’s exactly what I’m going through right now. I’m transitioning from my current job, to a new job! My first day is Monday, and I’m nervous, excited, and thankful for a fresh opportunity. It’s like Jesus has been speaking to me the last couple weeks about my upcoming “transition”. First he used a sermon at church, seriously titled “transitions”. Then a daily devotional I receive in my email was all about transitioning. I’m thankful that Jesus is always present and cares about what’s going on in our lives. In the spirit of Spring.. the timing of this new and fresh start is perfect and I can’t be more thankful for His guiding in my life! Tell us..how has God been good to you lately?! 💗
How about a #FridayIntroductions ? Yes it’s Saturday morning. Listen. Yesterday’s wine & cheese night ran late. My friends are interesting and dynamic, and I lost track of time (and also how many glasses of wine I actually had.) I already posted a photo of myself this week, so I’m posting a quote from some amazing clients of mine instead. All I’ve ever wanted for my business is to make clients happy with my art and with their interactions with me. For these two sweet brides, I #NailedIt
Irish I was wearing this today🍀may your day be full of luck, four leaf clovers, rainbows and pots of GOLD🙌🏻🌈🍯🇮🇪(this gem was taken back at my happy place, summer camp in VT!) #happystpatricksday#teamireland#green
It’s March #meetthemaker and today we’re gonna talk about Lisa of Skye’s the Limit Creations. Some of you may recognize her from the shop, as Lisa sometimes sets up and creates custom name ornaments on the spot and we all sit around and watch her in wonder and amazement. The story behind Lisa’s creativity started a long time ago, as she has always been a crafty and artistic woman. But the establishment of her home based business started with an unexpected blessing. Read more about Lisa in her own words:
Skye’s the Limit is named after and because of my granddaughter Skylar. I started making the bridal/name hangers after the birth of Skye, with her name being such an unusual name it was hard to find anything with her name on it so, I made my first beaded name hanger with her name. Since then, I have made the hangers for weddings, birthdays, baby and wedding shower gifts, with beads or without, they are always a hit. And then I thought about making the names for either Christmas ornaments, gift tags, or decorations for kid’s rooms or doors. I also make wreaths for all occasions but for the most part, it has been the hangers and name ornaments. I have been married to a wonderful man for 17 years, and between my husband and I, we have 7 girls and 9 grandchildren. We enjoy weekend trips and time with family.
Find Lisa’s creations at Reclaimed Rose and @brazenbrush! Custom orders not only welcome, but encouraged! ••••••
Friday introductions a day late—
We are Erick Luces and Michelle McMurray de Luces (me) of Wedding Story Writer.
Erick is the art director and designer of our books and boxes, while I am the founder and creative director.
All designs we do come directly from my head. I sketch them out and then Erick critiques them.
He is a great artist, very precise and tends to look for balance in a mathematical sense. I’m the opposite, often whimsical and using flourishes on an abstract side. Together we do well as a team.
We love to be together and although we live a very busy life, we find time for coffee alone on the weekends.
We have two boys together, ages 11 and 13, so our lives often revolve around soccer, Kung fu and homework.
An interesting thing we’ve done this year: a bride contacted us to make her wedding invitations love story style. I told her we’d never made invitations, but if she trusted me with it I felt confident that we could create a beautiful suite, which we did. The bride absolutely loves them, which warms my heart.
So, although our focus is on wedding stories and vow books, we can bring wedding invitations, welcome books, programs, and
all sorts of other design projects to the table.
Awesome photo by my dear friend @kismisink_mariana who, by the way, owes me a phone call otherwise I’m gonna have to fly down there and scope her out...✈️hint hint
Last we left off I was headed off to college for graphic design. If you need to catch up go back to the last black and white photo of me.
I’ll let you know now college wasn’t the best time for me. I loved it the first couple years, but I went through a lot of personal stuff during the later years. We won’t get into that today, but I will share about it at a later date.
The summer after my senior year I headed 4 hours north to a little town on the central coast called San Luis Obispo, CA. I started off my education in graphic design at Cuesta College. It was so beautiful on campus. We were surrounded by hills, trees and an animal shelter was a mile away :D. I would volunteer and study there all the time.
I took a bunch of design classes along with core classes. I learned how to use Photoshop and Illustrator a lot more and about the history of graphic design.
Then I began to get insecure when I was learning all the rules and techniques & I started to not trust my gut. I started to compare my work to other students & started second guessing myself.
I loved design & stuck it out, but never asked for help, because I was too embarrassed to admit that I needed it. Looking back now if I could give myself some advice I would tell her to ask for the help & take the time to talk to my professors. They have so much information and there to HELP.
While I was living in SLO I had a job at a UPS Store in town. I remember the ad wanted someone who was studying graphic design and wanted to learn about printing. I learned so much about interacting with customers and what they needed for their design and printing needs. I also learned how to package and ship and I’m so glad I have those skills now. It’s ALWAYS good to have skills outside of your field.
Side Note: If you’re in high school or college, get a job or internship. A big part of why I got this job was because I had experience with customer service and knowing how to work with others.
When it was time to transfer to a four year university I left SLO and headed back down south to Long Beach State. -
Stay tuned for more in the next few days! How did you learn your craft? I would love to know in the comments!
Hi everyone! I would like to introduce myself as many don’t know me personally. My name is Nick Wilson and I’m located in Mesa, Arizona. I am a commercial product and lifestyle photographer by day and a sports photojournalist “by night”. I am an avid enthusiast cyclist and enjoy all aspects of the sport, and disciplines. I am a father to a 3 year old wonderful little girl. My wife and I are celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary this year and that is super exciting for me! A dream of mine would be to shoot Pro cycling in some regard or another. I’ll keep it short and simple here. If you have any questions for me or would like to talk more, I would love to hear from you! Message me, comment below, email me, call me, etc. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!

"My name is Ann, and I am the Care Leader for the SBS Shreveport Chapter. When we found out my husband matched in the EM/FM residency program, we will filled with an overwhelming sense of relief and excitement (especially since we moved from CA from when I was 9 months pregnant!) At the time, we knew nothing about Shreveport, but have found Shreveport to have become such an incredible home during his training especially because of the SBS group here. The wonderful women provide such encouragement and fun while also challenging me to grow as a Christian, wife and mother. I am overjoyed at the opportunity to get to know you better!"
Hey y'all! I'm Megan (Formerly Picklesimer, now a Pettus!) I spent many years in front of the camera as a news reporter and anchor, but my true passion is serving others through my camera.
You used to find me in front of a high school classroom, telling corny jokes in the hopes that my students would learn something along the way. .
Now I am at home rocking my LulaRoe leggings & loving on my one year old daughter.
I love getting lost in a good book or podcast & the dizzying feeling you get when lying down to sleep at night after spending the day on a pontoon boat at the lake.
So tell me a little bit about you! What is one thing that we can usually find you doing??
It's finally FRIDAY! I have so many new followers that I thought it would be fun to do #fridayintroductions for my new peeps!⠀
First of all THANK YOU so much for being here -- bring your friends, y'all. I'd be forever grateful.⠀
I'm Lindsey. I'm a wife + mama of 1. I work in Employee Benefits Insurance by day and run my online fitness business by night.⠀
I am deeply passionate about empowering women to feel their best through cutting edge fitness and nutrition strategies. Women are the most powerful force on the planet, but we often put ourselves on the back burner. I love helping women find time for themselves and realize the power and value they bring to the table daily.⠀
I am a fashion lover and self-admitted shopaholic! I love all things from trendy to timeless. Luxury, designer brands to Target are my jam.⠀
What you can expect from me - transparency. I keep it real. Sometimes too real. I only share what I love and truly believe in. ⠀
If you've stuck around this long - love ya long time. Seriously! XoXo
Hi friends! There are some new faces around here so let’s get introduced 🙋🏻♀️
I’m Stephanie, the girl behind Olive & Sage Photography where I get the privilege of capturing incredible families and couples with authenticity, focusing on the sweet moments of tenderness and joy. ✨
I’m originally a small town Georgia peach 🍑 I followed my heart overseas and now call New Zealand home with my hunk of a husband and our fluffy rescue cat Sage. ✨
Because we are travellers at heart, we are spending our weekends converting an old school bus into a handcrafted tiny travelling home to explore more of this stunning country. Follow along @whimsandwanderlustbus 🚌
Give me real talk over superficial small talk any day. I love any opportunity to learn and create something new and I run on extra strong cups of Earl Grey tea and a weekly dose (or two) of Mexican food! 🌮
I am a creative at heart and find myself inspired by and interested in so many different pursuits. I once believed that inner voice that told me I wasn't gifted or talented and my work would never be ”good enough”. I let it steal away the joy of creating and learning. Maybe you've heard that negative voice too? But you know what friends, you ARE capable of learning just about anything. The key is stubborn dedication, even when it's challenging and especially when you feel like giving up. Keep pushing forward and I promise you’ll look back and be amazed by the growth you made. So if you're waiting for permission, this is it. Pay attention to what inspires you, embrace your curiosity, take that class, sign up for that workshop, learn what you can, and practice, practice, practice. This life is too short to waste time waiting for ”someday” 👏 Go make it happen 👏
This guy right here is my favorite person! Everyone, meet Dan my husband. He’s one of the smartest guys I know and he makes me laugh all the time with his dry humor. When you meet him, he’s quiet at first, but by the end of the night, he’ll make you laugh until it hurts. He doesn’t have an Instagram and totally sucks at social media, so that makes him even cooler right?! It’s not our anniversary or his birthday, it’s just Friday husband appreciation day! Jk it’s just Friday
and I love him! Too bad he can’t see it... 🤦🏽♀️ #fridayintroductions#filmphotography#mynoinstagramhusband 📷by: @jana_dillon

I’m leaving on a jet plane ✈️ to Portland, OR next week for a @wildandfree.co homeschool conference and so I’m answering the roll call and joining in on #fridayintroductions . And hey it’s still Friday on the West Coast, well barely. It’s raining here and I just love hearing the rain and it’s a rarity here so I’m staying up late just listening to it and I thought I’d join in on the introductions. .
So, Hi I’m Jen. 👋🏼 I have three wild and crazy and full of life boys (as you can see in my picture) and this is our 4th year homeschooling. They were in public school and just 6 weeks before they were going to return to school after summer break, I decided to not not take them back to school. The thought of homeschooling had been slowly building in my heart. Like little water droplets that finally collected into a big enough puddle to see that this is the here God was leading me and my family. It’s been quite a journey so far, a sometimes difficult one, and sometimes joyful one, but always knowing this is where we’re meant to be right now in our lives.
So I guess I should share a few facts about me: 1. I was in public school for elementary, private in 6th, homeschooled for 7th and 8th, private school for 9th grade and back to public for 10th - 12th. So I’ve experienced it all 😂. 2. I’ve always been a nature girl since I was little, I rescued spiders in my bare hands, watched the birds at great length, climbed trees, made mud pies and was glad my mom never forced me to act too much like a “lady” 🐞 3. I love a cloud filled sky. Especially poofy white ones. ⛅️ 4. I entered community college thinking I’d pursue art but took a botany course and realized how much I loved it. Then discovered landscape architecture that married both. So thats what I got my degree in at a state university. Have loved plants ever since . 🌿 5. I’m all about jeans and soft t-shirts, especially gray ones. And socks. 🧦 And hoodies. Soft ones. Comfy clothes are my favorite. And pajamas are the ultimate. .
I can’t wait to meet all you homeschool mamas in Portland. Please say Hi! I’m quite the introvert but also I don’t mind chatting! 👋🏼 #wildandfreeconf#homeschoolconference#homeschool
It's still Friday! It's my first #fridayintroductions ! I am so excited to head out to the #wildandfreeconf in Portland next weekend!
This is a rushed selfie I took as I was slow walking through Costco by myself today! Which is like a mini vacation in and of itself. (Right, Mamas?!) I'm a Mom to 3 awesome boys. 8, 5, and 1! When my husband and I had first decided that we felt called to Homeschool, I had a sweet friend invite me to a homeschool conference in Portland. It seemed like a great opportunity to get away with some girlfriends and learn some stuff. I knew nothing about homeschooling, I didn't realise there were different philosophies of homeschooling.(Spoiler alert: there's loads) I ended up at this awesome hippy homeschool mom conference at the Kennedy School in Portland, drinking a Jack and Coke and having all of my false ideas of homeschoolers blown out of the water, in the best way! I thought, 'okay...I can do this!'. It was such an encouraging experience and God used it to solidify our choice to educate our boys at home!
3 years later and I get to head back to Portland and see all your wonderful faces in person again, and to spend some sweet road trip time with my girl, Lisa!
Tacoma's coming back atcha, @wildandfree.co! 😘❤️😁😃 I can't wait!
I know it is late in the day and not many people may see this, but writing a caption is my self-imposed intervention to put the Costco-sized bag of kettle corn down. (Can't type with sticky fingers!) I wanted to introduce myself, but I imagine that previous statement probably says a lot about me. 😂
My name is Sarah and I am the face behind Blueberry Hill Photography. (That other cute little face there is my sweet little goose, and another reason I'm almost always sticky these days.) A couple things about me:
1. I have seen Hanson in concert 13 times. (I missed the first week of college classes freshman year in the Lower 48 because I was following them around on tour.) 2. I do a pretty great Keira Knightley impression. All you have to do is suck in your nostrils, show your top teeth, and say "He's a pirate," in a British accent. Try it!
3. I have taken a photo every single day for the last 8.5 years. Some of them are total crap, but it's an awesome way to keep a journal.
Now it's your turn! Tell me something about you! Or better yet-- send me videos of your Keira Knightley Impressions!
#fridayintroductions . Hello I’m Julie Kiernan, a portrait and wedding photographer from Minneapolis. In February, in celebration of our 30th anniversary, we got in the frame. Hello, now I really know how you feel when I photograph you:) I asked @anniegroves to make a few portraits of me that I could use in my photography business, so here you go. A few fun facts: I love to laugh (loudly). I love to travel, but I don’t like much of a schedule. While I like to dress up and go out for dinner, my favorite day includes a beach, swimsuit, hat and wind blowing in my hair, with sand between my toes. I love watching the surfers on the north shore and listening to the sound of the crashing waves. If I’m close enough, we sleep with the door open to hear the waves. Hawaii is my happy place! I got my film back and will be posting and adding some of my landscapes to my print shop soon. Happy Friday. Mahalo!
"Welcome!! We're so glad you're here! My name is Christa McCord and my husband is halfway through his fellowship in hematology/oncology. When we first found out that we had matched to Shreveport, I was excited but nervous because we knew NOBODY in Shreveport and I was pregnant with our second son. But the other ladies here have become family and our community is the sweetest thing about Shreveport! We do life together, we share our messes and our joys, and it's just fun!"

Sliding in late to Friday introductions, buttttt here we go!
If you're new around here, hiiii 🖐🏻 I'm Hannah, wife to Sebastian Michael Brown & dog mama to #oursweetlittleroxygirl 🐶 My favorite Friday nights are spent at home, snuggled up on the couch, watching whatever we're into at the time (right now it's Blue Bloods!). ✨ I come from a police family & am passionate about supporting LEOs! 👮🏻♂️ Sebastian is the youth leader at our church & I'm thankful to be by his side, helping with whatever he needs. 💕 Aaaand I'm the choir director! Come to @chr1st_fellowship_church & join our choir! 🎶 If you wanna know something weird about me: I slept with my baby blanket every night until... last July. 🙈 We got home from a quick trip and I realized I had left it on the bed at a hotel, and even though I called to try to get it back, it was lost and gone forever! 😭 I shamelessly called my Grama & asked her to make me another one, but she refused because "you're married now and don't need to sleep with a baby blanket." 🙃🙃🙃 Whats something weird about YOU!? Will you tell me??? 😬 📷: @amandahedgepethobx 😘
I had an 11 hour work day today to prepare for being out of the office for a wedding near Dallas this weekend! March has been a month filled with weekend road trips (all for weddings!), so it calls for some crazy work hours during the week. But I’d drink 3 cups of coffee per day if it meant my reward at the end of the week was a 4 hour road trip with Alex! We love just being in the car together, sipping on late night coffee, and talking about anything and everything. Call me crazy, but when you’re high school (and college!) sweethearts, you grow accustomed to spending all of your time together...and we wouldn’t have it any other way! I didn’t realize this post was going to turn into a round of #fridayintroductions - haha! You can hear more about our love for travel & upcoming trips on my Insta story. We may not have many free weekends, but when we do, we spend them wisely! 😉🙌🏻 (Picture from Jennifer and Patrick’s wedding that’s now on the blog!)
All the cool kids are doing #fridayintroductions today so I'm joining in the fun too! Just one week until #richlyrootedretreat , so perfect timing 😊
Hi! I'm Heather. I'm a Christian, been married for almost 9 years and have 3 kids ages almost 7, 4.5 and 1.5. .
Here are "9 lighthearted facts about me." 🔸️I'm a morning person and I attribute it to my years of working at Starbucks. ☕
🔸️I taught high school chemistry and biology. 👩🏼🔬
🔸️I've had 2 home births, but my 1st baby was a c-section!🤰🏼
🔸️I took one of those enneagram test things and it says I'm a "3" which they labeled "The Motivator." Sounds about right 😁 🔸️From the time I met my husband to to when were married was about 9 months 👰🏼
🔸️I didn't grow up camping or playing sports but now those are two of my favorite things 🏕🏀
🔸️I once ran a Boston Qualifying time in the marathon (but haven't run Boston) 🏃🏼♀️
🔸️I was an RA in college 🤓
🔸️There are lots of subjects I don't have much background in (art, history, music) but I work hard to learn more about them. I think it's important to always be a student (and a teacher!) 👩🏼🎓
Thanks for stopping in and please say hello! Tell me something I might not know about ya 😍
Hi there, I figured it was time for a #fridayintroduction . My name is Fern and I am a fox 🦊. I love these bottles of plant juice called essential oils and I love to teach all about them. How they support healthy minds and healthy bodies and let me take the best naps ever.
We only use young living around here you can get yours at the link in my profile.
Once you get your oils you get to hang out with me and the rest of the team at the tavern, our community’s private group for learning more about health and oils and having a blast while doing it. So come on in and join the party.
This guy has been a tremendous help lately. I have a six week old attached to me at all times, which makes working tricky. He has pruned trees, bought soil, looked appropriately worried when I discovered my dahlia rot. He even made some soil blocks!
Adam (@laemeur) isn't technically part of the business, but gardeners and farmers know how that works.
He's done all this while wrangling our bananas almost-four-year-old and doing his own thing, which is freelance illustration. Please tell him to update his website and post stuff he genuinely enjoys drawing, instead of just job-stuff. He's so good at space stuff, guys. You da besss, Adam.
