So... despite my best efforts at completing 100 training sessions in 100 days (and donate some money to charity), my troublesome back has once again had the last word and told me to back off. Stopping just short of 50 is disappointing but I'm gonna try again in the new year and build my body back up to brand new. #dr100days#fitness#mentalhealth#backache#oldman
Hi everyone, #DR100DAYS
So officially the DR100 Day challenge is over. It was interesting to say the least and thanks to all who took part, your selfies helped motivate everyone. I know there are a lot less posting now than at the beginning and a lot who may have pulled out altogether, some on Facebook, some on Instagram and some doing the challenge secretly.
As it stands just to clarify the aim was to put €1 away each time you exercised and at the end of the challenge donate the money to a charity of your choice. Some people may have done 1 day, some 20 and some 100. Whatever you’ve done every euro counts especially this time of year.
We have selected three main charities- Pieta House, Cancer Care West and Galway Simon. I will post links to go fund me pages for all three in the coming week so anyone who would like to add the money they have raised, whatever the amount can do so.
Alternatively, people that have their own selected charity can go ahead and donate to them directly but if doing so please take one final selfie no matter how much of the challenge you completed with a self-made poster of who your charity is and that you did the challenge for them please.
Big shout out to Patrick Gibney whom got the ball rolling with the first donation to Madra today
Thanks and well done everyone,
