FOOD FOR THOUGHT | "You never cook the same recipe twice" - Chef David Chang
This quote stuck out to me recently when watching @uglydelicious (have you seen it? I heart it so hard). Because (for me) this is so true. Nothing is set in stone in our kitchen, I may make the same dish every week with the same ingredients but each time it may taste different depending on the season, the weather, my mood, or the vibe that day. That's the beauty of cooking.
I'm going back through old recipes on the site and updating them slowly to reflect how they've evolved (and let's not forget photography skills, some of the old recipe photos are hilarious). We make this White Truffle Mushroom Risotto at least once a month but now that I've perfect my technique I'm updating to reflect where the recipe is today (check it out on the blog, link in profile until new post).
How has your cooking evolved over time? Where are you today and where were you a year ago?
